Bukit melawati was the administrative center of the Selangor sultanate in the 18th and 19th century. It is a historical place where there is a fort was built on the summit during the Sultanate's reign to fight against the Dutch. There is still several artifacrs left from the past such as the cannons, a flat stone used for beheading offenders, royal graves, a poisonous well, lighthouse and others.

Besides, there is a lot of monkeys at the hill. You can feed the monkeys but just be careful because the monkeys can go wild. Even you don't want to feed the monkeys, but if you bring any food the monkeys will automatically come to you.

Tourist are allowed to drive their own car to visit Malawati Hill. As the provided Tourist Train are only operated on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday from 9.00am to 6.00pm. Fees for the Tourist Train is RM5 per adult and RM3 per child. The tourist train will bring you to the Malawati Hill and Freshwater Fish Park.

Firefly is also known as lightning bug. The habitat for this fireflies is the Berembang trees (type of mangrove trees) only. You can't see it on any other trees. Therefore it can only be seen along the Selangor river at Kg. Kuantan. The tree will turn into flashes of lights like Christmas tree at nightfall. The tree continue to flashes till morning, just the human eyes can't see it during the broad daylight. This type of fireflies couldn't live without the Berembang tree, because the source of food is the nectar of the tree. The size of the firefly is like a grain rice.

You need to see and feel it yourself. The experience is priceless because it won't be the same like you see it in the pictures. Pictures can't let you experience the flashes of light, a closer look of the firefly, and play closely with the firefly with your own hands. For nature's lover I highly recommend you to experience it.

The Istana Negara (National Palace) is the official residence of the Malaysian King, also known locally as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Kuala Lumpur Tower is built on Bukit Nanas. It was the site of a fort built by Sutan Puasa, an early settler and Malay headman of the mining town of Kuala Lumpur. Visits to the Observation Deck cost RM49 per person and you can catch a panoramic view of the entire city of Kuala Lumpur.

It was opened to the public in on 2 October 1996 and has since become the symbol of Kuala Lumpur and one of its most popular tourist attractions. It receives an average of 2,500 visitors per day. It serves as an integrated telecommunications tower from which TV and FM radio signals are transmitted for the metropolitan area. Two express lifts transport the visitors to the observation platform at 276 m above ground level in 60 seconds.

The tower structure consists of 5 sections:
i. Foundation Base,
ii. Touristic Building,
iii. Tower Shaft,
iv. Tower Head, and
v. Antenna Mast

Touristic Building. It houses a mini-theatre, souvenir and handicraft shop, photo shop, a snack shop and others. A 15-minute documentary showing the construction of Menara Kuala Lumpur is screened continually. The Touristic Building also extends to a 146 m pedestrian mall with a reflecting pool in the center.

Tower Shaft. The vertical-ribbed tower shaft links the Touristic Building to the Tower Head. The two express lifts and staircase are contained within tower shaft.

Tower Head.  It consists 6-storey.

TH6 - Broadcasting Station.

The observation platform is equipped with 8 viewing binoculars, and can accommodate 200 people at any one time. An excellent view of the city is after a heavy rain. The revolving restaurant serves lunch, high tea and dinner. It takes 90 minutes to make a complete revolution and provide spectacular scenic view for the diners.

Antenna Mast. The 86 m antenna mast forms the last section of the tower. 
KL Tower has also become the venue for extreme sports, namely the
- Towerthon and
- BASE Jump (Buildings, Antenna, Spans, Earth).

In the Towerthon, thousands of people with extremely strong knees run 1km from the street level upwards through the rainforest and culminates with a run up 2058 steps to reach the Mega View Dect at 288m above the ground.

BASE jumping is only for those who have nothing better to do with their lives – the daredevil jump off the tower and hope that their parachutes open in time to cushion their landing.

Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant located at 282m plus 94m atop a hill, makes it a spectacular place to dine and entertain your guest or yourself for lunch or dinner or tea. You have a choice of buffets or ala carte.  The restaurant can accommodate up to about 250 guests at any one time. The restaurant comprises of a revolving floor and as you partake of your meal, you will be slowly rotated 360 degrees to catch the entire view of the city.
