In Nov 2nd , at night,  I picked up 2 clients at Shezhen North trainstation and sent them to hotel . 

Meanwhile  , I arranged a crossing-border taxi , preparing to drop off them to Hong Kong Airport in Nov 3rd.

In Nov 3rd , in the morning , I went with them across border from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by crossing-border taxi.

It taked about 40 mins to Hong Kong Airport from Shenzhen. Fees is 550 RMB for 3 passengers . 

Clients were satisfied for this Pick-up&Drop-off service. It saved their time and enegy for business trip .

Guangzhou has an efficient public transportation system. The transportation in Guangzhou is very convenient. In 2010, the total length of the Guangzhou metro network (Line 1 to Line 9) will be 255km (not including the inter-city lines).
It is easy for you to go anywhere of Guangzhou if you want, Just by Guangzhou metro or Guangzhou BRT
You need to caution when you arrive at the Guangzhou airport
Do not accept solicitations for rides to the city. Sometimes, people will stand at the arrival area and ask if you need a taxi. Those are illegally operated and use unmarked vehicles, or charge you a fee, offer you a phony receipt, and then arrange a taxi that will still charge you. They may cost more than taxis since many travelers do not know the cost of airport transportations.
But you can by Guangzhou subway at the airport, convenient also!

While the train from Hung Hom Train Station to Guangzhou is the fastest option, generally, it is not the fastest option for you arrive at the HKIA and wants to go to Guangzhou directly.
From HKIA to Guangzhou ,take a bus instead of a trains. Note that these buses have multiple drops off points in Guangzhou (e.g. universities, China hotels)It is about 2.5-3 hours from HKIA to Guangzhou.
1) By bus: Bus tickets to Guangzhou can be purchased when you arrive at HKIA. It cost about HKD $250 from the Hong Kong airport to Guangzhou. Once you exit HKIA customs, bus counter is right in front of you. Buy ticket, wait 5-10 minutes,and an agent will lead passengers to bus to board. The bus will take you to the border check at Shenzhen Bay. From there you get off the bus with your luggage. And get back on another bus on the other side. You’ll wear a sticker; agents will direct you to the right bus. The next stop is downtown Guangzhou. Typically, the bus will go to 3 different drop off points depending on the schedule.

Through Train tickets on the China side cannot purchased online. (On the Hong Kong side you can.).
If you want to book trains to Hong Kong (eg: train from Guangzhou East to Hung Hom, HK), you can only use this enquiry form to ask our trip advisors to book it for you.
If you are going to stay in a hotel in Guangzhou, you can work with the hotel conceige to purchase the tickets for you. The hotel will then pay the travel agent. Tickets will be delivered to you at the hotel.
If you have some deliverable address in Guangzhou, you can also contact some travel agent directly. They can send the tickets to your address .Or you can visit one of the travel agent’s offices to get the tickets there in advance.
If you happen by the Guangzhou East Railway Station, you can purchase you’re your tickets there in advance.
If you are just passing through – say flying in to Guangzhou in the morning and want to go to Hong Kong in the afternoon, your only choice be to get the tickets at the station or from travel agent.
There are other ways to reach Hong Kong. For example, you can take a direct bus from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. Usually getting bus tickets on the spot is not a problem because there are quite a few buses running each day.

From Guangzhou to  Hong Kong, you cannot book your ticket online , You need to buy at the Guangzhou East Railway Station or you can buy train tickets at your hotel concierge or travel agent office with a small fee is added。

This depends on where you are staying in Hong Kong and where you are going in . Where are the hotels in Guangzhou and Hong Kong? How do you go to the airport? What about luggages?
If you are near Guangzhou East Railway Station, take the Through Train to Hung Hom (or “downtown” Hong Kong, and transfer to MTR (HK subway) is a good choice. The train is more comfortable. Price is a little higher than the bus.
If you stay near or at one of the Guangzhou bus pick up points, Like Garden Hotel or China Hotel then it would not make sense to take a taxi to Guangzhou East Station to take the train. You can take the bus right from the hotel’s parking lot.
The train is more comfortable, The bus is more convenient, as they pick up in front of Guangzhou hotels and drop you off in front of your hotels in Hong Kong, which saves 2 taxi trips. The bus takes 3 hours. The train is faster but does not include taxi trips and wait time. In Kowloon, these buses often pick up and drop off in front of many hotels. Check with your hotel. Bus is best if the bus stop is at your hotel. You board and get off the bus right in front of the hotel, avoiding taxis and multiple lines at 2 train stations.
If you want to take the Through Train from Guangzhou east railway station to Kowloon, booking ahead is a good idea. You can buy train tickets at your hotel concierge or travel agent office, a small fee is added. I You can also take the Guangzhou East Railway Station to Shenzhen train (Shenzhen Luohu), then walk through the China and Hong Kong borders and get on the subway to go wherever you want to go, You may be taking a chance by not buying tickets ahead of time. The trains to Shenzhen run every 15-20 minutes and almost always have seats available.
From Guangzhou to Hong Kong you need to go through immigration regardless whether you take the train or bus. If you take the Through Train, you go through immigration in Guangzhou East Railway Station (China side, exiting), and Hung Hom Station (Hong Kong side, entering) Foreign passport holders are required to fill out the arrival forms. If you take the bus, you go through immigration at one of the border check points at the Shenzhen/Hong Kong border. It IS typically Shenzhen Bay Control Point. You need to alight the bus, go through immigration, and then board a different bus (run by the same company) on the Hong Kong side.

Border Crossing:
It involves getting off the bus, taking your luggage, and walking across the border immigration/custom check. Usually with a 40+ passenger bus. Waiting for everybody to get off and get their bags may take 5+ minutes. On the other side, you would be waiting for other passengers to get on the bus with their luggage. This process will likely take 30 minutes or more.
Hung Hom is a MTR station as well as the train station for Through Train. To transfer from the Through Train to regular MTR at Hung Hom, the rider enters the MTR platform after exiting immigration/custom, within the same station .

I'm tripper from Vietnam. With my friends, we plan a trip to Shangri-la, Lijiang and Lugu from 30 April 2016 to 8 May 2016. We'll take a fly from Kunming to Shangri-la, stay there one day and move to Lijiang by car. So we want to charter a car for 8 persons to get to Lijiang on 2 May 2016. After 2 days in Lijiang, we continue to move to Lugu Lake on 4 May 2016, and comback to Lijiang on 6 May 2016.
