Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, Hairui’s Tomb was virtually destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The memorial has since been rebuilt with a pavilion, a tranquil garden filled with stone statues, flowers, and a small lake. Hairui was a nobleman during the Ming Dynasty who was famous for his integrity and lack of corruption. Take the #1 bus (the big yellow bus) to the end. It will stop at a four-lane highway (Quihai Dadao). Cross the highway and walk up the hill; the memorial will be on the right.
