Taking a public van to the trekking point ,walking on the river bank of the Black muddy river about 2 hours then real trekking start by flowing a steam gap upwards in between 2 massive mountain  ,passing through farm land ,cottage ,honeymaking house .at midday we reach to a Lishu small village for  a simple home cooked lunch by a local lishu family  or outdoor picnic  .by the end of this one day trekking we will arrive to 2 beautiful peaceful hiden Bai village to visit some local family ,Bai style architecture , old bridge,amazing rice fields  as well as  few local temple located on the hillside across the river .

I also will give you a short  discourse of local herbs ,wild edible vegs ,plants we come across during the day .

Take the same public van to the old town shaxi in the evening .

Pls note this is 8 hours proper trekking  with no joke ,whoever wants to join this tour have to be fit enough as shaxi is about 2100 M above the sea level .

Xinhua bai minority village is located in the north side of Heqing county,  Dali . it's known as "the kindom of silver""&"water town in the high pleatau". it is the home of 400 bai families.

Different scenery in different season, you can see beautiful lottus flower in summer,  hundreds of springs produce enough water for the town.  you will see the most beautiful spring in Yunnan at this village,  if you are visitting Lijiang or Dali, it is worth a visit to this village.  it's only 40km from lijiang city.
