Xi'an Bell Tower Youth Hostel
Xi'an Bell Tower Youth Hostel has a great location, helpful staff and a charming atmosphere. On the 2nd floor is the restaurant area. Food and drinks are cheap, internet is 8 yuan per hour and they have a pool table. If there's one obvious drawback, it's that they do not have an elevator. Hauling bags up to the 4th or 5th floor can be a pain.
How to Get There:
Xi'an Bell Tower Youth Hostel is located right in the middle of Xi'an city. From the train station, take bus 611, 201, 603, 608, 205 or 610. If requested, they will meet you at the train station and escort you to the hostel.

Banpo Site exhibits the prehistoric settlement about 6,000 years ago in the northern part of the escavated settlement along a big entrenchment, there're over 40 house remains, more than 200 cellars, over 80 hearths, more than 400 caves, 6 pottery caves to the east of the entrenchment and over 170 tombs to the north, which have well reflected the production, life and society of primitive rural residents, thus becoming a representative of prehistoric prosperity in the middle area along the Yellow River.
半坡遗址博物馆,是中国第一座史前遗址博物馆，半坡博物馆位于西安市东郊庭河东岸半坡村北，1957年在半坡遗址上建成，1958年正式对外开放。为全国重点文物保护单位。半坡遗址是黄河流域一座比较完整，比较典型的母系氏族公社的村落遗址，是我国珍贵的文化遗产。除建造文物展室外，还在3000平方米的原始村落居住区盖起保护大厅。半坡遗址中的房屋、地窖、灶坑、男女分葬的集体墓地、各种生产及生活用品等遗迹遗物，向我们生动地展现了6000多年前处于母系氏族社会繁荣时期的先民生产与生活情况。对研究中国原始社会历史有着重要的科学价值。

Terra-cotta Army: Emperor Qin Shihuang's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, built on the ruins of Emperor Qin Shihuang's Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses pits, is a modern museum for archaeological excavation, scientific research, exhibitions, cultural relic protection and tourism service. It lies in Lintong District of Xi'an city. Emperor Qin Shihuang' Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1987 and praised as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
