Day 1
You will get a warm welcome from your guide and driver when you arrive in Zhangjiajie, be transferred to Laodao Bay, there are 18 big waterfalls and 18 ponds, then, transfer to Wulingyuan Town to stay.

Day 2  Zhangjiajie National Forest Park 
AM: After breakfast,take the Tianzi Cablecar up to Tianzi Mountain,the guide will guide all of you to explore Tianzi Mountain,this mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles - the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain,the amazing views of the rising sun,the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks.They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. 
PM: Continuing to Yuanjiajie, it takes you 35 minuts from Tianzi Mountain to Yuanjiajie by public bus,have a stop at Shentang Bay, Shentang Bay is also named Shentang Fort. It is located between Yuanjiajie and Tianzishan which is a gorge shaped like a huge basin walled by lofty precipices. The bottom of the gorge is veiled in mists and clouds all day, adding to its mysteriousness. After arriving in Yuanjiajie, you will have a bird’s-eye view of all the mountains and valleys of the Wuling Mountains. Mountains in Yuanjiajie are the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR , Where you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks and so on. But this place will be very crowded especially in summer time.

Day 3    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park 
If you like, you can get up at 5:30AM to see the sunrise,then,go back for breakfast, after this, the guide will guide three of you to Yangjiajie,the following information is the place you hiking.
1.Air Corridor is one of the most eye-catching scenic spots in Zhangjiajie. It is the most difficult path from Asking for the Moon to there. Vertical cliffs encircle us and only a plank road facing the cliff lies on our left hand. In fact, Air Corridor is a plank way carved over the cliffs, so when you walk on such passage, it will both excite and exhaust you!
2.Take green bus to Yangjiajie Scenic Area, Yangjiajie Scenic Area is a relatively recently discovered area of Zhangjiajie. Like a hidden gem, its pristine beauty is a touch above other areas; and its amazing landscape, with a bit of adventure and fewer tourist crowds, will impress you as you climb the steps. The mountains, forming a natural “Great Wall”, are the most striking feature of the area.
After these,the guide will guide you go to the Bailong Elevator,Bailong Elevator is the said to be the world's tallest full-exposure outdoor lift, tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator.

Day 4     Wulingyuan Scenic Area 
AM: Transfer to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, combining mountain, water and hole, Zhangjiajie Grand Cayon is the landform museum of Zhangjiajie.The main attractions: One-Line-Sky, Family Portrait, The millennial Ancient Rattan, Chuangwang Pavilion, the Southern Red Flag Canal, Zhuaxian Spring, Rotten Ship Rock, What's more, the world's highest and longest see-through skywalk glass bridge will be completed and open to public in July 2016.

PM: A short driving to Yellow Dragon Cave,this cave is just like an underground "magical palace", featuring a wide cave, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and dense stone bamboo shoots,showing a style of its own.

Day 5
Transfer to Zhangjiajie City and go to Tianmen Mountain and then go to the airport.
Tianmen mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie, with with the sea level of 1518M, it is praised to be the soul of Zhangjiajie. Your guide will take you to explore the best scenic spots such as Heavenly bus road, The Glass Plank road, Tianmen Cave and so on.(Highlights:Adventure,exciting, glass walk,cliff, Buddhist holy land, and overlook the whole Zhangjiajie city).
Option:If we have time after Tianmen Mountain,we can go Tujia Folk Garden or Junsheng Painting Museum.
After these,transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport or Train Station and see you off.

Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival

After meeting with the tour guide, he/she will take you by private van and driver to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie national forest park: Huangshi Fort, Golden Whip Brook

After breakfast, you will take the cable car to Huangshi Fort which is 1092 meters above sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. Later, explore the famous Golden Whip Brook which covers a distance of 7.5 km winding across mountains and valleys.

Day 3: Wulingyuan scenic area: Tianzi mountain, Yuanjiajie and Baofeng Lake

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up  and take you to Wulingyuaun Scenic Area to visit its two most classic and popular attractions. Take a cable car up to Tianzi mountain, and you will see large area of grotesque peaks thrusting up below. Walking along the steps, spectacular views unfold in front of you from different angels. In the afternoon, ride the public shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, whose mountains are said to be the inspiration for Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain, and then take the shuttle bus for the Bailong elevator down the mountain. This glass elevator was built on the side of a cliff, and it claims to be the world's highest and fastest outdoor sightseeing elevator which takes only 1.5 minutes with 326 meters as the height.

After that, go to Baofeng lake that is a basin created by the terrain in the middle of this mountainous area. It is a leisurely experience as you boat on the clear water, see the hills of various shapes, and enjoy entertainment by the local minority people as they sing their traditional songs.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town

After breakfast, take the longest cable car up to the top of Tianmen Mountain which got the name because of Tianmen hole(literally "heaven's gate) is a 131-meter-high hole formed naturally in the mountain like a doorway, well-known for being glided through by a world-class stuntman in a wing suit. To reach the hole, you can climb for about half an hour up the "stairway to heaven". Coming up to Tianmen mountain, Your heart will beat faster at on the world's longest cable car, the suspended glass walkway almost a mile(1,430 meters) above the ground, and the winding road with 99 curves.
    In the afternoon, 4 hours drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town, enjoy the night view in the town with all lights and lanterns on.

 Day 5: Fenghuan Ancient Town, Dehang Miao Village, Back to the next destination

After breakfast, wondering around in the ancient town with the cement pavements and characteristic wooden buildings (Diaojiaolou). 

In the afternoon, drive back to Zhangjiajie while on the way back, explore Dehang Miao Village which refers to "beautiful valley" to get an interactive with local Miao-minority people in person.

    End of service for 5-Day Zhangjiajie & Fenghuang Ancient Town Classic Tour, and you will be transferred to the airport/train station/bus station for your next destination.

Day 2    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (B+L+D)
AM: Go to Gold Whip Stream for a pleasant stroll along the stream, surrounded by grotesque rocks,this place is well-known for its crystal water and fresh air. You might see some monkeys there. Please don’t touch or scare them for safety reasons, but giving them food is ok.

Day 3     Baofeng Lake & Tianmen Mountain (B+L+D)

AM: We head to Baofeng Lake after breakfast in the hotel, Baofeng lake is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’wisdom.It is 85 meters above the ground and attains an altitude of 585 meters, with an average depth of 72 meters. All the water is from rainfall and spring, it is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range.When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people.You can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature.

PM: Take the longest cablecar(about 7.5 kilometes long) in the world up Tianmen Mountain, have a walk on the mountain plank road built along the face of cliffs. You will feel like walking in a fairy land when the mist is still heavy. The must-visit scenic spots are: Tianmen Cave, Glass Road, Tianme Temple and Heavenly Road.

Day 4    Furong Town & Dehang Village (B+L+D)
AM: There are a lot of to see and do in Furong Town, originally named Wangcun, Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years, and it an ancient town where people of the Tujia and Miao ethnic people live together.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved.

PM: Drive about 1.5 hours from Furong Town to Dehang Village, Dehang means a "beautiful valley" in Miao language, In the scenic spot, streams are crossing to each other, deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, grand mountain ranges, ancient trees and special flowers, precious birds and animals are everywhere.

Day 5     Fenghuang Ancient City (B+L+D)
AM: Take your time as you spend a whole morning exploring this fascinating city. Hemmed in by rolling mountains and watered by a smoothly flowing river, flagstone streets, rows of traditional wooden houses built on stilts, towers, bridges everywhere, Fenghuang Ancient City is praised to be the most beautiful ancient city in china. A short boat ride of 20 minutes on the Tuo River is a good experience to relax, and you can also explore the small museums and former residences inside the town.

PM: Come back to Zhangjiajie, about 4 hours by car. Seeing you off according to your flight time, looking forward to seeing you again in Zhangjiajie.

Day 2    Tianmen Mountain

Full day to explore Tianmen Mountain,take the longest cablecar in the world up Tianmen Mountain,have a walk on the mountain plank road built along the face of cliffs. Day 3    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

AM: Arrive in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, head to Yaozi Village, there are more than 5000 steps to climb and no cablecars and elevators to transport you to the summit. Yaozi Village was first opened to tourists in the 1980's. It was closed for nearly a dozen years out of concern for environmental protection, but then reopened to welcome visitors once again on September 26, 2003. After 4 hours to tour the village, then hiking down and arrive in Golden Whip Stream.

PM: Go to Gold Whip Stream for a pleasant stroll along the stream in the afternoon, surrounded by grotesque rocks, this place is well-known for its crystal water and fresh air. Tips: To handle this itinerary, please make sure you are in good quality of physical condition. It's over 4 hours hiking with steps each day, go to some remote and off beaten places, few people there, don't recommend any one take this trecking tour without a guide. 

Day 01 

Highlights: Yaozi village trecking

Transfer to Zhangjiajie national park, visiting Yaozi village, which is  part of Zhangjiajie national forest park, it is absolutely the paradise for those backpackers who really like hiking and climbing steps.  There are about 3500 steps to the top, Yaozi Stronghold is closed for nearly a dozen years out of concern for environmental protection, now is specially designed for the foreigners, the main spots including: Stone Pagodas, Frightened in the Height and Baiyin Valley. You should prepare your own food forpicnic lunch, as there's no stores on the top, trecking for 3 hours to reach the fabulors view.

Day 02

Highlights: Yuanjiajie, Tianzi mountain, Yangjiajie trecking

Enter the park in the morning, take elevator up to Yuanjiajie, visit the shooting palce of Avatar, stand with the same level with all these mountains, experience the real Pandora world. Transfer to Yangjiajie, trecking in the forest on a mud road, reach one step to heaven and the corridor in the sky. Then visit Tianzi Mountain, standing on a viewing point, enjoy a bird view of over 1000 pillars. Take cable car down.
