The Most beautiful place of sri lanka is Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage,It is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, 90 km from Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy in the hills of central Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka wildlife department in a 26acre coconut property near the Maha Oya river. The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection to the many orphaned Elephants found in the jungle. As of 2004, there were 80 elephants.

Welcome to Sri Lanka. On arrival at the airport our representative heartily greets you and transfers you from airport to Kandy via Pinnawala. Pinnawela is an important tourist attraction in Sri Lanka where abandoned, injured and abused elephants are taken care of with dedication and love. Today here you can see the jumbos moving in the spacious elephant orphanage. Today it is an important tourism attraction in Sri Lanka with a foot fall of not just tourists, but researchers and scientists from across the globe are seen here. After a wonderful time with the elephants we move to Kandy the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kandy.
Day 02: Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy
Enjoy the morning breakfast at leisure. Later we drive on wheel to Peradeniya from Kandy. Peradeniya is an exotic garden built by the Sinhala King. Today it is the national wealth and the garden has great collection of exotic plants, blossoming flowers and herbarium are grown. Later drive to Kandy the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings and today it is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kandy holds the cultural beauty and the traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Visit to the picturesque Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala King, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Also visit to Kandy Town and bazaar and enjoy shopping, a gem museum and the art and crafts centre.
Day 03: Kandy - Plantation - Nuwara Eliya (77kms/3 Hrs)
Enjoy heartfelt breakfast at the hotel in Kandy and later visit to the tea plantation and the tea factory to see the processes of manufacturing tea and how the best tea leaves are produced. See all the process how tea is graded, produced and packed. Also enjoy stimulating hot tea made from the world best Ceylon tea in the factory. Later we transfer to Nuwara Eliya the picturesque hill resort in Sri Lanka. Located at an altitude of 1980 metres, Nuwara Eliya is the heart of tea country and produces the best tea leaves in the world. Pidurtalagala the highest?s mountain and the 18 holes golf course in Asia are also located here in Kandy. After a memorable day tour enjoy a cozy overnight stat at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 04: Nuwara Eliya - Tissamaharama - Yala - Kataragama (120 Kms/3 Hrs)
Have a heartfelt breakfast at the hotel and later we drive you from Nuwara Eliya to Yala via Tissamaharama. Yala is one of the finest national park in Sri Lanka and a premier eco-tourism destination. Make a safari in this largest national park of Sri Lanka and see the wild beast in their natural home. Yala is home to varied species of wild animals like leopard, deers, crocodiles, bears, wild buffaloes, wild boars, wild elephants, porcupines and spotted deers. Also see varied species of birds that include migratory and indigenous birds and commonly found birds in this national park. Later we transfer from Yala to Katatra Gama and later enjoy overnight stay at the Katatra Gama.
Day 05: Kataragama - Galle - Kalutara (125 Kms/3 Hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Katara Gama and later from there we drive you on wheel to Galle. Galle showcases the best example of European architectural styles and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here stroll around the Galle Fort spreaded on an area of 90 acres which still preserves the essence of the Dutch charm. Later transfer from Galle to Bentota/Ahungalla. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Bentota / Ahungalla.
Day 06: Bentota - Colombo (64 Kms/2 Hrs)
After a heartfelt breakfast the hotel in Bentota/Ahungalla, we transfer you to Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. Enjoy the city tour of Colombo and visit to some of the oldest building in the city and the modern skyscrapers changing the look of Colombo. Also visit to the 100 years old clock tower, colonial building, Hindu and Buddhist temple and Bandaranakike Memorial International Conference Hall. Day 02: Colombo - Pinnawala - Sigiriya (165 Kms/5 hrs)

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is the major tourist attraction where you will see herds of abandoned elephants taken care off with tender love and protection. After spending some memorable time with the elephants, transfer from Pinnawala to Sigiriya. Sirigiya is also an important tourist place and the fact of being very popular is that it is one of the seven World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. Day 03: Sigiriya - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya (80 Kms/2 hrs)
Enjoy the hearty breakfast at the hotel Sigiriya and later we transfer you to Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura is the first capital of Sri Lanka then called Ceylon. It is today well known for historical monuments and splendid architectural specimens. Some of the interesting tourist places to visit here are ?Samadhi? Buddha Statue inaugurating in deep meditation, holy Bo Tree under which Buddha got enlightenment 2500 years ago, monasteries and Ruwanveli Sweya. Isurumuniya rock temple is also famous attraction of Anuradhapura as the rock temple showcase the splendid rock carving of the 3rd Century B.C. Return back to Sirigiry/Dambulla/Kandalama for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Sigiriya - Minneriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya (67 Kms/1 hr)
After healthy breakfast at the hotel Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandalama, we will move to Polonnaruwa the second capital city of Sri Lanka. The city was built during 11th and 12th Centuries AD and today it is one of the best preserved cities in Sri Lanka with interesting places to see are ruins of the Royal Palace, The Gal Viharaya where wonderful statues of Buddha with Upright, Sedentary and Viharaya postures can bee seen. Also enjoy memorable safari by Jeep in the Minneriya National Park and date with the wild in their natural surrounding. Later we transfer you from Minneriya to Sigiriya for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Sigiriya - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy (90 Kms/4 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at Sirigiya and we drive to Dambulla just 19 kms away from Sigiriya. Dambulla is mostly famous for its Dambulla rock temple consisting of five cave temples constructed in the 1st Century BC. Today the temple is a World Heritage Site which contains many statues and paintings dating back to the 12 the century and some of the latest one of 18th Century. Later transfer from Dambulla to Matale for Spice tours. Visit the exotic spice gardens to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. All see how these species are grown and processed as well as sights of some good cookery show. Later we transfer you from Matale to Kandy for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy
Enjoy healthy breakfast as hotel in Kandy. Later we drive on Wheels from Kandy to Peradeniya, an exotic botanical garden built by Sinhala King. Later this garden was extended by British and today this 147 acres Garden is amazingly beautiful with variety of trees, plants and blossoming flowers. Later we drive back to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka where centauries old legends, traditions and folklore are still alive and can be felt even today. Visit the Kandy Lake constructed by the Last Sinhala King, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, the arts and crafts centre, bazaar, gem museum and a lapidary. Day 07: Kandy - Tea Plantation - Nuwara Eliya (77 Kms/3 hrs)
After a heartfelt breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, today we go for a tea plantation trip. See the tea plantation and tea factory and witness how the best tea in the world is produced, processed and packed. Enjoy the cup of refreshing tea at the factory and savor the taste of the pure Ceylon tea. Later we visit to Nuwara Eliya the premier hill resort of Sri Lanka which produces the world?s best tea leaves as well as view the Sri Lanka highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet). Day 08: Nuwara Eliya - Bandarawela - Kataragama (120 Kms/4 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the comfort of your hotel room. Later we drive on wheel from Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama through Bandarawela Tissamaharama. Katargama is well known tourist place in Sri Lanka and is famous for numerous temples of all faiths and religions. Today the deity of Lord Murugan or Skanda is commemorated annually and the local river namely Manik Ganga or Manika Gangai is also major attraction. It is believed that taking a bath in the river will abolished the sin and purifies the soul. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kataragama.
Day 09: Kataragama - Galle - Bentota (125 Kms/4 hrs)
Enjoy heartiest breakfast at hotel in Kataragama and later we drive to Galle. Galle is the chief port of Ceylon and is known for its rich history and cultural beauty that makes it unique, comparison to other tourist places in Sri Lanka. Visit to the Galle Fort, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and see the marvelous Dutch architecture of the time. You will be amazed by this marvelous architecture that is built in an area of 90 acres. After the memorable tour we transfer you to Bentota/Ahungalla for overnight stay.
