Meizhou Hakka Dragon House

The Round-Dragon House is a typical Hakka residence with the architectural characteristics in Central China. The house was built in a cycle way, and the windows are usually small. During Tang and Song dynasty, some people from cities were exiled to the south, and most of them lived in rural area. They were discriminated and expelled. In order to survive, they created a strong bond together. The house has defense purpose and since family members all lived in one building, they tend to love and look after each other.
