About this place
This museum was built based on the original site of the Confucius Temple. It vividly displays the 1300-year rise and fall of the imperial examination system in China's feudal society with photos, graphs, wax figures, stone inscriptions, etc. The imperial examination system was intended for selecting government officials. It offers scholars from low-class background a chance to succeed in official career.
