Zhouqiao Old Street

Zhouqiao Old Street is considered the root of Jiading, a district in the suburbs of Shanghai. Its history dates back to 800 years ago in the South Song Dynasty. This small place has a rare combination of cultural heritage sites including Fahua Pagoda, Confucius Temple, Qiuxia Garden, Huilong Pond, etc. It's also home to some intangible cultural heritage like bamboo carving and grass weaving techniques.
