Nine Rings

Nine rings first appeared in the Warring States Period and remained prevalent through the centuries thereafter. It is made up of nine rings and a rectangular frame. Its lure emanates from the complexity and difficulty of untying a chain of rings. This is one of the most admired ancient Chinese games in the Western world and is believed to be conducive to the development of children’s numerical ability, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
