Seven-piece Puzzle

The seven-piece puzzle is invented out of inspiration from Yanji in the Tang Dynasty, a kind of table that could be easily assembled and separated according to the number of guests. In the Qing Dynasty the seven-piece puzzle was recorded in a book and became fixed in its combination, namely, two big triangles, two small triangles, one middle triangle, one square and one rhombus. It is very easy to solve even for a child, but endlessly interesting to play with since one can use it to make numerous shapes. Even some adults are fascinated with it.
