Chinese Chess
Chinese Chess, or Xiangqi in Chinese, is perhaps the most popular board game in China. It is played between two people. Unlike Mahjong which requires a certain degree of good luck, this game is purely reliant on the player’s strategy and it is entirely possible for a skillful player to win almost every round. This game represents a battle between two armies. The purpose is to capture the general of the enemy through moving different pieces that are restricted by different rules.
