Oct ,1  is chinese national day holiday,   lijiang oldtown is holding the annual chrysanthemum flower exhibition to celebrate the birthday of the people's republic of china. the exhibtion usually lasts for 45 days, from 1th of october to 15th of November. thousands of chrysanthemum  making lijiang oldtown the sea of flowers.

Because of  the monsoon clime, June to september is wet season and october to may is dry season . so spring and Autumn is a great season to  visit lijiang.
