* Pick you up in the lobby of your hotel
* Bund Walking: Peace hotel-Garden Bridge-former HSBC building
*Take the ferry (2RMB/person) to go to Pudong New Area
*Go on Oriental Pearl TV Tower (160RMB/person) or Shanghai Tower (180RMB/person) to enjoy the bird-eye view of Shanghai. The ticket is a little bit expensive, but it is really worth to visit for new here.
*Back to Puxi by taxi
*Must see: the most traditional part of Shanghai - Yuyuan Garden (40RMB/person) and its bazaar; it is a historic area, featuring religion, shopping, catering and leisure. As the origin of urban shanghai, it offers an insight into the traditional Chinese urban life in comparison with the modern city. It is the best place to buy souvenir with Chinese style (There is a wholesale market which offers very cheap goods)
*Have lunch at Bifengtang 避风塘,which offers different snacks and dishes of Shanghai. It is a nice restaurant and gives reasonable price.
*People’s Park, to see parents matchmaking on weekends ( Bird and Flower Market on weekdays)
*Tianzi Fang-it used to be the former French Quarter, now, it is changed to be a shopping and relaxing tour area.
*In the evening, we can watch the acrobat show if you want. It performs from 7:30-9:00pm each night, the ticket is charged by different seats, I think the 280RMB/person or 380RMB/person one is good My clients said this was the best show they have ever seen so far! Because of the show is so popular, if you like it please let me know in advance, I will book the tickets for you.
Warm notes:
1. You just pay your own entrance fees, I can free entry all the sightseeing with my clients and my guide license, which means you don’t need to buy any tickets for me.
2. Meals are not included In my guide service charge ( 100USD/ 8hours ), but we are happy to recommend and you can order yourselves. In China, normal meals are family style shared meals, it’s customary for the guests to buy the meals for the tour guide. Guide won’t take advantage of guests and order anything outrageous.
Shopping recommendations:
* South Bund Fabric is a very good place to get tailor-made items such as shirts, suits, cashmere coat, silk clothes, evening dresses, etc ... I have many clothes that have tailored in this market due to its very good price and quality. It is better to go there at the first day of your holiday in Shanghai, so you can get them well -made and get them back early.
* There are 2 big fake markets for imitation bags, suitcase, watches, clothes, shirts, etc ...and a few wholesale markets for small items like buttons, zips, toys, Christmas stuff, etc ...
If you need any help, please feel free to let me know.

First of all, allow me to introduce myself! I have been working in this area as a guide for both Chinese and English-language foreign tourists for some time. Previously, I worked at one of Shanghai’s top hotels, where I had the pleasure of dealing with guests from all around the world. During this time, I became more connected with the many charms of this city than ever before. Since then, I feel I have developed a deep sense of what Shanghai can really offer to tourists and, as a consequence, have developed unique tour programs in line with my vision of this city.
Most people have heard of Shanghai’s famous attractions, like The Bund, People’s Square and Yu Garden, and I am well acquainted with all of them. However, what many tourists miss out on is the city’s vibrant local culture, which in modern times is often pushed away from view, into side roads, small parks and squares. It is here where you can get a true feel for the city; marvel at locals gathering to play majiang in a springtime park, take in the long-forgotten homes of old Chinese poets and writers, or savour the city’s incredible cuisine: in small street stalls, side streets and small markets, hidden from view. On my tour, I hope to combine these neglected, traditional elements of Shanghai with the bustling, modern metropolis and world-class attractions that entice many travellers.
I have academic certification in both conversational and business English, and can offer you a colourful, warm-hearted, memorable and entertaining portrayal of this engaging, many-sided city.
