About this place

The Pyramid of Khufu or Pyramid of Cheops at Giza is the word´s largest and oldest pyramid ever built. Pyramids were built for the rulers of Egypt. The other two large pyramids are the Pyramid of Kafru and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The three smaller pyramids are the queens´ pyramids. The Pyramids of Giza are a top tourist destination in Egypt.

Having in mind the magnificence of these pyramids, the period in which they were built, its precise measures, and the absence of modern machines, there have been numerous theories on how they were built. Today, the highest pyramid is 138.8 m (455.4 ft) high.

The interior of the pyramids are equally interesting and amazing as the outside. The complex hallways, chambers and art in its inside amaze historians and make them think and invent new assumptions and theories about the life of the pharaohs.

Entrance to these pyramids have additional fees.

Pyramid of Khufu - 100 EGP

Khafre – 35 EGP

Menkaure – 40 EGP
