The Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum was built for memory of the salvation in Shanghai .
After War II broke out in Europe in the 1930s,there were more than 20,000 Jews fled their homes to find a refuge for their to stay in Shanghai. Now the museum displays many halls and galleries about Jewish art.

09.00 Pick you up from your hotel
10.15 Stop 1 - Zhujiajio Watertown
In the morning we go to Zhujiajio water town. We can easily go there with metro. Zhujiajio is a historical water town that is still in the original state. In this Watertown, it is as if time stood still. Entrance is free, but you have to buy a ticket for scenic spots you like to visit or you want to go with one of the boats.

09.00 Pick you up from your hotel
10.15 Stop 1 - Zhujiajio Watertown

12.15 We will have real Chinese lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, we travel with the metro back to Shanghai.
14.30 Stop 2 - Jade Buddha temple
In the afternoon we travel back with metro and go to visit Jade Buddha Temple (30 yuan each person)
The Jade Buddha Temple is a beautiful site where a lot of monks actually live a real religious life.
There are a lot of beautiful statues and the Jade Buddha is one of the most beautiful in the world
16.00 Stop 3 - Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum
In World War II a lot of Jewish people came to Shanghai for shelter. They stayed in Hongkou district of Shanghai. In the old Synagogue of Ohel Moshe. This is now The area is now the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. It gives you a good impression of how they lived in Shanghai.
17.30 End of the tour. If you like I can bring you back to your hotel.

1: Peace Hotel The larger North Building, located at Number 20, The Bund, is called Sassoon House. It was built by Sir Victor Sassoon, of the Sassoon family, which built a Shanghai business and real estate empire in the early 20th century. He was a BritishSephardic Jew of Iraqi origin, educated at Cambridge and Harrow. His family managed extensive business holdings in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Calcutta. Sassoon House was the first high-rise building built by Victor Sassoon, and one of the first skyscrapers in the Eastern Hemisphere. It was designed by architectsPalmer and Turner, with a reinforced concrete structure. Construction began in 1926, and was completed in 1929.[3]
