Shunan Bamboo Sea(蜀南竹海) has always been considered as one of the must-see scenic spot when you go to southwest of Sichuan .
it is well-known for its numerous bamboo .it's one of the largest swaths of bamboo forest in China's southwest.guess what ,it covers a terrain of 120sq km!!amazing ,huh ?
the scenery spread out over crumpled hills and modest valleys ,really remarkable .30 types of bamboo are found throughout the park ,like Nan,Mao,fishpole etc..
best visiting time---summer ! during the slack season ,like november and december ,the transportation there will get quite inconvenient -_- #

Day 1: Chengdu-Shunan Bamboo forest.
Drive from Chengdu , pass Neijiang City , the zigong Dinasour museum, zigong salt museum, Yibin city located on the upper reach of Yangtze River then we arrive at the bamboo forest, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery composed of more than 150 different kinds of bamboos. Overnight there.
Day 2:sightseeing in Bamboo Forest.
In the morning we will visit Emerald Corridor, No Worry valley, Frog Lake, Waterfall Booth, Queen Temple, Emperor Temple, Long& Happy Life Temple, etc. In the afternoon, after visiting Bamboo Forest Museum we will drive back to Chengdu.
