Folk songs
This Scene is a flavor chapter on the legends of Liu Sanjie. The directors combine the singing of folk songs and fishing nets together to create an impression of singing in an antiphonal style. The red fishing nets fluttering on the river are moving melodies; and the men inside the nets are musical notes jumping with fiery desire……
Silvery Impression Performance Grand Celebration
This scene is the most splendid chapter, showing the spectacle of a grand celebration by the local people “daughters of LI River” line up a luxurious array and wear specially mad costumes decorated with silvery lamps, forming an extraordinarily beautiful sight that you must have never seen before. This scene is said to be ”a cultural wonder on the Li River”.

The fishing rafts, the coir raincoats, the cormorants, and the fishing rafts composes a typical picture of the Li River, with the fire being the soul of the picture, for the actors performing on the rafts are 220 fishermen from 5 neighboring villages.
Love songs
Qi Qin and Qi Yu, famous singers from Taiwan will sing the classic love song “vines will twine trees” with romantic style. The enchanted voice will reverberate in the boundless mountains and rivers, and turn all the bamboo forests, wooden houses, moonlight, dancing fairies and the ablutionary bridegrooms into the notes of the love songs echoing over the heave…

The large-scale performance The Impressional Sanjie Liu is the core project of The Li River Mountain-Water Theatre, it was invested by Guilin Guang wei Wenhua Tourism and Culture Co.Ltd, and took 5 years to completed. This performance expresses the beautiful scenery of the Li River, The colorful culture of the ethnic groups in Guangxi and the brave imagination of the excellent artists in China, it is the first of its kind in the world.
The biggest natural stage in the world, is built in the Li River, stretches for 2 kilometers’ long with 12 mountain peaks as it background. The large-scaled lights system and special smoke-effect system create a dreamlike world for the audiences. The sound system of the theatre is invisible-designed, and use the echo of the mountain to gain a natural stereophony effect. TheThe performance regards the Impressional Sanjie Liu as the general theme, and creatively combines the classical Sanjie Liu’s Songs, ethnic groups’ culture and the fishing lights together, to reflect the harmonious atmosphere between human beings and the nature. The performance lasts for 70 minutes.
