Nanjing Road Pedestrain Street

In this one day tour, you will visit the highlights of Shanghai in Puxi part of the city. Puxi is the old part, where you can still see a lot of the history of Shanghai. You will get a nice overview of the history, but also get a glimpse about how life is in Shanghai nowadays.

I will take you to some of the famous places like People Square, Nanjing Road, Yu Yuan garden and Jing'An temple. But I will also take you to some of the more hidden places like The Propaganda poster Exhibition and the Cricket market. Here you can see the real-life of Chinese people in Shanghai. And of course, we will also have a taste of the famous Shanghai food at lunchtime. In this tour, we will travel by metro/subway and taxi and will do some walking.

ITINERARY

Pick you up from your hotel.

- The tour will start at Peoples Square the real centre of Shanghai. 
The first stop on Peoples Square is the Shanghai Urban Planning exhibition.
The second stop will be the Shanghai museum.
- Jing'an temple:
This temple was first built in 247 AD and was rebuilt in 1983.
- We have a local lunch
- Propaganda Poster art Art Centre:
This centre is a museum exhibiting posters from the Maoist period of communist China. You can learn a lot about our modern history.
- Visit the cricket market. This is real Chinese culture
- Visit Yuan Garden:
This is a Ming dynasty creation, surrounded by high skyscrapers, then visit the ancient Shanghai Old Street.
- Walk over the Bund:
Here you can see the famous Shanghai skyline.- After the Bund we walk over Nanjing Pedestrian street back to Peoples Square. Nanjing Road is one of the busiest shopping streets in the world.

And finally, I bring you back to your hotel.
