Pick up from your hotel (Between 8:00 and 9:00 AM).
Tian'anmen Square: The world's largest Public Square. Listen to the Tian'anmen Square’s role in some of the remarkable events in China; explore the sites around the Square and use the opportunity to take some memorable pictures.
Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in the world. We will spend some time learning about the history and observing the magnificent architecture of the palace.
Jing Shan Park: Enjoy a bird's eye view of the Forbidden City from the top of the mountain.
Hu Tong: Ride a rickshaw on an ancient, narrow road to the residence of a local family, listen to their traditions, and dine on a delicious home-cooked lunch!
Hu Tong Drum Tower: Tour the Tower to see some ingenious methods of keeping time in the ancient days, where you will experience the exciting the Drum Show!
Lama Temple: Visit the famous Tibetan Buddhist Temple in China. This is a chance to see the renowned 18m tall high Maitreya Buddha!
Return to your hotel.

  The hutongs are one of the last remnants of old Beijing culture which have survived the pace of Beijing’s modern development. What awaits is a guided half-day tour in this coiling labyrinth of small streets and houses. The tour will take you through historic neighbourhoods, experience local market life, and visit several famous sights. Escape the hustle and bustle of the modern city and enjoy a relaxed time in the quiet hutongs while cycling around the beautiful Shichahai Lake.

Pick up at your hotel at 9:00am. Transfer to Summer palace by car, enjoy a relax walk on the west dykes of Summer palace(with breathtaking scenery and less of tourists)(1 hour), then visit the old Summer palace ruin area(1 hour).

Summer palace:

The Summer Palace has three main sections including the political active region, living section and visiting area. The serious and imperatorial Renshou Hall is the representative of the political area in Summer Palace.The palace features hundreds of architecturally distinct buildings, halls, pavilions, pagodas, bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent and elegant gardens.

Old Summer palace:

That Old Summer time Structure, known in China as Yuan Ming Yuan (the Gardens of Perfect Brightness), and initially known as the Imperial Gardens, would be a complex of palaces and gardens in Beijing. It's situated 8 kms (5. mi) northwest from the walls from the Imperial City, built-in the 18th and early 1800s, in which the emperors from the Qing Empire were living and handled government matters (the Forbidden City was adopted for formal events).

Lunch at a characteristic restaurant(1.5 hours).

In the afternoon transfer to hutong area for sightseeing (2 hours), take a rickshaw ride in hutong area, then have a sip of chinese tea in a local tea house while listening to a cultural briefing by your guide. Transfer back to your hotel.
