Morteza-Ali Spring (hot-cold stream!)
Imagine you are walking through a stream and your right foot is in the hot water and your left foot is in cold water!! Then you are in Morteza-Ali Bath (Morteza-Ali Spring) in Tabas. Morteza-Ali spring consisted of hot and cold-water springs joining Sardar river, flowing in a canyon near Tabas. You have about 5km walking ahead through water before reaching King Abbas Arch (a 400-year old dam) which is almost end of the route. On the way, there are a number of springs, some hot and some cold. Difference between mineral component of these springs makes them not being fully mixed and separable for almost 300m in the riverbed. This significant feature alongside with the characteristic morphology of the canyon’s walls itself makes this place worth to visit.
