Qingyang Palace

Chengdu Giant Panda Base is presently the biggest artificial breeding center for giant pandas around the world, and is also the Home of many oversea pandas. With more than 100 pandas happily living here, it offers the closest and easiest way for people who want to see our Chinese national treasure.
This base is not like a zoo, it is more like a beautiful and relaxing garden on a hill,with lake, rose gardens and various birds. Each panda has her own apartment and backyard. Generally you can spend half of a day there. 
Qing Yang Daoism Palace is the biggest Taoism Palace in the whole middle-western side of China. Tao, as a original Chinese religion, it guides Chinese thinking and has a profound philosophy which influences the world, such as Feng-shui, Five-elements, Taichi and so on. This palace was rebuilt in late Qing Dynasty with traditional Chinese wooden buidings and colorful Tao decorations, and has a very peaceful environment. The teahouse in this palace is also a very popular place for locals to enjoy a laidback time.
Daci Temple, standing right in the most prosperous commercial center for thousands of years, and in Tang Dynasty, it was the biggest temple in the whole city, at that time, Chengdu's economy was at top one or two in China, and Daci Temple almost covers half of the city area. It has attracted so many celebrities and famous monks here, even the emperor himself. You will be surprised by the peace inside the temple and also the colorful lights and  city life right outside its wall.
