When we visited Ethiopia, Gashaw showed us around Lalibela with its amazing rock-cut churches, took us to a restaurant where we sampled the local cuisine, helped us buy coffee from a local bulk coffee supplier and took us to a local home and family where they welcomed us by laying fresh grass on the earth floor and then ground and brewed the coffee we had bought over a cooking fire. Delicious coffee! Gashaw had very good knowledge of the tourist sites and history. Gashaw speaks very good English, he is very polite, considerate and honest. We would recommend him highly.
