This is the perfect tour for cruise liner passengers who are only in Malta for just one day and want to make the most of the few hours they have.

We will visit, the historic centre of Valletta, which include the gardens that enjoy a breathtaking view, (museums optional) and free time at leisure for coffee or shopping (shops are closed on Sunday's and public holidays).

You can choose whether you would like to lunch or have a light snack (not included in the price) and then we will head off to the crafts village (closed on sundays and public holidays) to see traditional glass blowing, lace making, filigree and more.

We will be taken to Mdina the ancient fortified city, also known as the Silent City as there is no commercial activity and the narrow, winding streets are deserted (apart from tourists that is). From the Mdina view point one can practically see the whole island.

More stops can be added depending on the groups pace and requests. You may wish to go swimming for example!!!

 This excursion will give you a chance to appreciate some of the most atmospheric landscapes that the island of Mauritius has to offer its visitors. The island is full of traces of past volcanic activity, two of which will be the destination of our excursion: the volcanic lake of Grand Bassin and the crater of Trou aux Cerfs.

From here, we will begin our journey of discovery of the southern part of the island, consisting of the crater of an extinct volcano which offers spectacular views of the island and in particular of the Rempart Mountains. Not to be missed is a stop at the showroom of a model ship workshop, famous for its models of historic vessels on the basis of original plans. The next stop will be the Sacred Lake of Grand Bassin, which is in fact one of the most ancient pilgrim destinations of the Hindu population. Next, a stop at the panoramic point of Black River, from where we can admire the Black River Gorge. Last stop will be the waterfalls of Chamarel and its stunning 7-coloured earth.
