I am pleased to report that the Xuanwu Hotel Rooftop Restaurant is the signle best buffet restaurant I’ve ever been to! It’s a revolving restaurant on the 20th floor of the Xuanwu hotel, serving both Chinese and Western buffet. To sit comfortably on a sofa, enjoy a delicious meal, and take in a bird’s eye view of the entire city, including the beautiful Xuanwu Lake in the moon-lit night, is a wondeful feeling. Although the speed of the revolution is almost too fast for me.
The cold dishes include sashimi, mussels, and scallops. Hot dishes include beefsteak, fish steak, muttonchops, stewed French snails, crab, and various soups. The desserts here are delicately made and delicious but the fruits and drinks are nothing spectacular. Besides these plentiful choices, there is also BBQ, fried shrimps, and other spot-made food at the bar. The price is 148 yuan per person plus a 15% service charge.
Dining at the rooftop restaurant is rather convenient as the hotel is centrally located. It is just across the street from the Jiangsu Exhibition Hall, a few meters away from Xuanwu Men Subway Station, 10 minutes from the railway station, and 25 minutes from the airport.

After sampling the Sunward Fishery Restaurant twice, I discovered that it is truly an excellent place to dine. The restaurant boasts a spectacular facade with a large parking lot outside. The decor within the restaurant is equally grand and luxurious, so the restaurant is an ideal place to hold banquets. While dining, the quiet and cozy atmosphere makes for a suitable environment to discuss important topics such as business.
As is obvious from the establishment’s name, the restaurant specializes in fish dishes and seafood. An impressive and enjoyable part of the dining experience is the way in which you order. Instead of browsing the menu, patrons walk around an exhibition hall of sorts to look at the display dishes. Then the waiter accompanying them will note what they wish to order. After ordering, an elevator takes guests to the dining hall.
Meals here are relatively expensive; of course the fine service tip is included. The meal costed us about 500 yuan for four people, not including alcohol.

City Wall (Admission: 45CNY) - Nanjing City Wall, constructed during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties between 1365 and 1386, originally stretched over 30km which made it the longest city wall in the world. Now, with about two thirds of the wall still intact it still remains the longest city wall in China. We could walk on the city wall and feel the history of Nanjing.

Since Tangshan is a little town outside of Nanjing city and it`s quite far away, i would suggest to use a private car to drive there directly.
