Day Tour of Old Jerusalem

Experience the Old City, its sounds, its smells and its noises!

The sages of old spoke of two Jerusalems; a Jerusalem of ‘above’, a heavenly Jerusalem, and a Jerusalem of ‘below’, earthly Jerusalem. This tour  works on many levels too, first we will experience the 4 quarters of Jerusalem from above, from the ramparts of the Old City. With expert knowledge of the history of the town you shall see Jerusalem throuh the eyes of all its inhabitants throughout the ages.

As Isaac Newton said ‘what goes up must come down!’, following our heavenly journey we shall head into the bowels of the earth to the various archaeological sites, the Herodion quarter which uncovers the mysteries surrounded the Great Revolt of 70 CE, the Kotel Tunnels which head into the spiritual heart of Jerusalem and Ir David and the true ‘City of David’.

We shall finish with an over view of the city from the outside and prepare ourselves for the next tour: Jerusalem – The New City.
