Jianmen Pass is located at an opening in the middle section of Mt.Dajian which contines for hundreds of miles . The sword-like peaks form a natural barrier and give i many strategic and geographic advantages. In the history the pass has witnessed more than 100 battles, and welcomed over ten emperors as well as countless men of letters, who left behind 4000 artworks prasing if after their visit . Relying on the natural barrier, Jiang Wei, a general of the Shu Kingdom successfully defended a hundred thousand soldiers of the Wei Kingdom from entering the pass. Existing sites include the memorial site where Zhugeliang set the pass , sncient temples, precious inscribed tablets, as the well-known "Four sceneries of Jianmen '( drizzle of Jianmen 松涛， whistling sounds of wind bloing through pines (at Liangshan Temple) . afterglow of cliffs and snow covering Cuiyun Corridor) and 'Four spectacles of Jianmen " ( Stone Statue of Jiangwei, thousand-year -old Chinese redbud, evergreen pine and firtree and stalagmite in Mt.Jianshan )

Jianmen Pass is a major part of the National 5A tourist attraction Jianmen Shu Road. it is also it was 2300 years ago when five strong men called Five Ding cleared the way for offense in the Pre-Qin days. The well-known sentences " if one man guards the pass, then thousand are unable to get through" and "  it is easy to climb to heaven than to take the Shu Road "( which is from Libai's poet , were made to describe this steep and  rough pass. Jianmen Pass is regarded as one of the " Four Spectacles of Sichuan" , the other three being the Elegant Mt.Emei, secluded Mt.Qingcheng and the magnificent Jiuzhaigou .

As a national AAAA scenic spot covering an area of 427km²， it is the birthland of Qingzhu River and eco-tourist attraction for protection of giant panda with forest over 86%. 

the most wonderful item in Tangjiahe is camping on the large grassland at an elevation of 3,837m to get clost to wild animals.

       Cuiyun Corridor was called Jianzhou Lubai in ancient times, aoso popularly known as 'Huangbai Road(Road of royal cypress)" or Hundred thousand trees in 300-li distance and reputed as the " Ancient Rome Avenue in the East" . now there are over 8000 ancient cypress trees , the first batch of which said to be planted in the Qin and Han dynasties, and mostly by soldiers led by Zhangfei in the era of the Three Kingdoms. 

         is is divided into three sections, namely the south section, the west section and the north section. 

         South Section -the main route from the ancient Jianzhou to Baxi prefecture( Langzhong city today ) it has more than 4,000 ancient cypress trees planted. 

         West Section -this road was once called township of pine seedlings . there are nearly 200 ancient cypress trees along this post road . 

         North Section- is the only thoroughfare that connects the ancient Sichuan with the central plain. it consists of three senic spots. Many visitors ,travellers pedestrians and business people ,travelling by common and i mperial carriages, stayed here for a rest or meal. In the Three Kingdoms times, Zhuge Liang has put the army in position here during his six expeditions to Mt.Qishan. there are some relics such as the"  beacon tower", in the ancient times, these had been places for setting up military camps . 

Zhaohua town is ringed by mountains with water around at three sides, and has been a valuable land with a good geomantic omen because being n one "fish eye" of the so-called "the Greatest natural Tai Chi in the world" . according to historical documents, heros of the Three Kingdoms period ( Liubei, Zhangfei, Zhugeliang, Zhangfei , Huang Zhong, etc ) have made schemes, drill toops and fought battles in Zhaohua, left many stories and historic relics . 

Jian'ge Ancient Town

Listed in the first batch of renowned historical and cultural cities in Sichuan, the Ancient Town is  embraced by mountains and faces water on three sides, in which, houses were built against the mountain. in recent years, despite of new buildings established, the aged bell tower, walls and gates are still intact, attracting numerous Chinese and foreign archaeologists, photographers, painters and directors of films and TVs coming here for a visit and photographing. The west gate of Jiange Town is the the only way which must be passed b by ancient Shu Road, where a number of places of historic interest and scenic beauty can be found, in particular, the Happiness Spring , which deserves you to have a look . Ancient buildings well protected with great archaeological values include ancient walls, embrasured watchtowers, towers and drum towers, Temple of the God of Fire, the stele of " 10 political programmes " left by the Fourth Red Army.  

Jianmen Shu Road

the Jianmen Shu Road is from north China Gansu Province to Shaanxi Province . connects Mianyang in the west Sichuan and broders upon Bazhong city in the east Sichuan . it is 280m km away from Chengdu , and 5-hours drive from Xi'an and Chongqing . the site consists of 8 scenic spots, Jianmen Pass, Cuiyun Corridor, Zhaohua Ancient town , Huangze Temple, Thaousand Buddha Cliff. Mt.Tianzhao . Moon Gorge and Xuexi Cave , they together form the Shu Road .

Jianmen Shu Road mainly embodies the Three kingdoms culture. it has over 140 related sites and relics, more than 80 among which are described in the classic book Romance of the Three Kingdoms, these involves the stories about LiuBei, Zhugeliang, Zhangfei, Guan Yu, Machao, Jiangwei, which have been spread over. The Jianmen Shu Road cultural tour route was named a " Classic Route " of the 2nd International Self-driving Tour Expo of China, as well as a aNew Route of the 4th International Self-driving Tour Expo  of China .  

Moon Gorge is the strategic gateway of the ancient Shu Kingdom, the major traffic passage connecting Sichuan and Shaanxi, and the start point of the national historic and scenic site Jianmen Shu Road. The gorge is 2km long  and 100m in wideth. Between the perpendicular cliffs at both sides witha perpendicular height difference to about 300m, the Jialing River rushes passionately . From ancient times to nowadays, the gorges have integrated six functions of  plank road, post road, dangerously norrow hill path for boat trackers, water channel , highway and railway. This is raare not only domestically but also around the world, which deserves the reputation as "the traffic history museum of China" it is also the crucial route from which Zhugeliang got out of Mt.Qishan for six times for marching north to the central plain, and the site where the putting plank road on fire scene in TV drama Romance of the Three Kingdoms is shot .
