Blue Wave Pavilion (Cang Lang Ting) is smaller ans less dramatic but an abundance of fine ston and wood carvings are still worth you 2 hours there.

Very impressive, it`s incredible that people can sewing such a great picture, China sewing skills is the best i have to say.

When i went to Suzhou last year, i found this bar,and think it`s the best of Shi Quan Bar Street, beer are good there.

It does have a story about Mochou Lake, but it`s a tale, i am not sure about if it`s true.



Mochou is from Luoyang, Henan Province, her mother died when she was a child only she and her father live together, father died when she was 15 years old, she dong have money to bury her father so she has to sold herself to a official`s family as a maid, and married to the son of this official.



One day Emperor Liang Wu Di came to this official`s house  to visit him and saw Mochou, he fell in love with her at the first sight, but she already married, so Emperor Liang Wu Di made her husband die and try to pick her to Imperial Palace.



When Mochou found out this she would rather die than go to Imperial Palace, so she jumped into the Lake, and them her story was spare aways, people named the lake as Mochou to commemorate her.

Zhan Yuan, the first garden in Nanjing, which make it really famous in Nanjing, everyday here will be visited by tourists from all over the China.

It`s not only a garden, it`s also the Historical Museum of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, it will show you how the history of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom built, the Qing government and the Yanpian War, and the First War.

Zhan Yuan is a nice place to have the view and also good to review the history.

I`ve gone to University for 4 years in Nanjing, and our school is located at North of Yang-tze River, so i have to cross it every time i went to school, for 4 years, i always took buses or taxi. never walk on it, and the view was so great, i to;d myself one i have to go through the bride by walking.  Yesterday, i was there, the weather was cool with river breeze, it took us almost 1 hour to walk through it.



I miss Nanjing so much, the river, the bridge, the people, everything. I will come back often when i have time.

Cantonese is my favorite type of Chinese food, i like to go to Xinwang Restaurant once every week at least since my work place is right across it. They have a good business all day, and they will never closed like other Chinese restaurants in the afternoon, that`s another reason i love it.



If you wanna try some Cantonese food in Shanghai, come to Xinwang, and it`s easy to catch it because it has many chain stores here.

 

I like these hand made sill slippers, and the handbags will be a great souvenir from China, highly recommend.
