Guangzhou is not a place where all sorts of teas were produced, but most of Chinese like tea very much, so in each city there must be a tea markets. Especially for Cantonese (locals in Guangdong), who would even name breakfast HAVING MORNING TEA, when people would go to a restaurant to order a few dim-sum and a pot of tea as breakfast.

It's the old town of Guangzhou with buildings left from the democratic China period, when all the buildings were made with woodern doors of open bars for the ventilation especially in the summer time given Guangzhou is basically a warm city in most time of the year.

Great location with Yuexiu park, Shamian, Chen Clan Academy, Shangxiajiu Walking Street etc the main tourist sites in 3-5 kilometer's reach.

It was a family clan academy that was founded with the fund contributed by Chen families from 72 counties in Guangdong for the family education. It is a great building complex with extremely exquisite stone and clay decorations on top of the roof and detailed stone carvings and solid hard wood screens and seperations of the house.

It's located by the Pearl River side, after you have seen the tower, you can either ascend to the top to take a ride on the highest flyer in the world on this tower or go to the river side for a walk.

Yuexiu Park is a hill based public park in the center of Guangzhou city, the most famous statue , the symbol of Guangzhou, Five Goats is placed in this park.

Baiyun Mountain is located to the north of Guangzhou city with beautiful greenery on the mountain, one can see the whole city when ascending to the top.

Beijing Road is one of the walking streets in Guangzhou, the other one is called Shangxiajiu, an area with a few streets crossing and joining one another.

Canton Tower was given anther name in Chinese as Xiaomanyao meaning the slim waist of a lady due to its resemblance. Night view is much better than what you can see in the day time.

It's actually in Foshan instead of Guangzhou though Foshan is nowadays a part of Pan-Guangzhou area. The place has kept some old typical houses in Foshan, and build houses of the same style for restaurants, shops and bars etc.
