The Ancient Coins Museum of Beijing is a part in the rebuilding of Qing Dynasty's Zhenwu Temple (真武庙) and the other in the Arrow Tower of Deshengmen Gate (德胜门箭楼) of Beijing. The tower was built about 500 years ago. It was one of the nine city walls of defense construction in Qing's Beijing.

The exhibition series of "China's Old Currencies" in the Ancient Coins Museum of Beijing displays the earliest Chinese coins that were made of shells and the ones that were produced by cloth, as well as some coins that look like strange ghost faces, very interesting. Ancient copper coins in old China's imperial dynasties, the currency used during the Qing Dynasty and the banknotes that were circulated in the Nationalist Period before 1949 are being exhibited here in the Coins Museum.

Printing is one of the Four Great Inventions in ancient China. The spreading of the printing technique in the world has tremendously influenced social development and promoted human civilization. Thus many called it as the Mother of Modern Civilization. The Printing Museum of China is to carry on the great Chinese tradition in printing and give Chinese youth classes of patriotic education.

The Printing Museum of China clearly demonstrates the articles about the legendary history of development in printing technology at home and abroad, displays the most famous printed matters historically and relevant documents and materials. The printing museum has four sections, Ancient Printing Hall, Modern Printing Hall, Exhibition Hall of Digital Technology and Underground Hall of Printing Machines. There are three theme exhibition tours that should be highly recommended are you can hand touch the Wooden Carvings Fu Lu Shou (福禄寿) from the Qing Dynasty, Rotated Type Set from the Yuan Dynasty and the First Laser Photo Type Set Machine invented by Wang Xuan.

Before the emperor went to the Altar of Agriculture for offering the sacrifice, the seeds intended for spring sowing and the ploughs were examined here, just to show the emperor's concern for agriculture. According to the rule, the imperial genealogy should be revised every ten years. The ceremony of presenting the genealogy to the emperor for revision and approval would also be held here. The emperor's throne is in the middle with the incense burners in front of it. There are two braziers on both sides burning the best quality of charcoal for heat in winter. There used to be two sedan chairs exhibited here on both sides, which were used by the emperors in the Forbidden City during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
