In this tour we are going to visit some easy hiking places in Varazdin region. We'll see ancient megalithic site on a slope of Ivanscica mountain, we'll walk to a waterfall and visit a dreamy meadow.

This tour starts from your hotel in Zagreb, from where we go to Northern Croatian region. Our first hiking path is on the eastern part of Ivanscica mountain. An easy hike will get us to a dreamy meadow with stream and waterfall. It's a great place to relax with sounds of nature.

After that we go to a mysterious place on the western side of the mountain. Two hand-carved stones, are positioned in a place charged with uplifting and high-frequency energy. Some archeologists estimate that the rocks were carved thousands of years ago. The perfect alignment of a stone to a side of the world and its positioning on a high-frequency spot, indicates that ancients used that place for spiritual purposes. From there we'll walk by the so called Elemental trail and will visit a waterfall.

After that we'll have lunch in a local restaurant nearby. Depending on time, we may visit one more interesting hiking place. After the tour you will be transported back to your hotel in Zagreb.

Varazdin is a beautiful historic town, only about one hour away from Zagreb. It gained worlwide popularity after being graded with a top score by a respected tourism organization. It is a charming town which attracts more and more travelers.

We will start this tour by meeting somewhere in town, and then lightly on foot we go our way to see some of its main attractions, and to get a general feel of it.

After that we can rent bikes. If we choose this option, we'll head to explore other areas of the town. We will drive all the way to the bordering town's forest and taking a moment to rest by a river. Varazdin is known as the town of bicycles. "Everyone" here has one and you can get around town easily with it.

Somewhere on our way we can go to a nice place for a meal and/or refreshment.

Most people that see Varazdin feel enchanted by its beauty, and usually return back home feeling happy and glad that they visited it.

The cost of this tour is 50 euros, and it is for up to 30 people. This tour can also start from your accommodation in Zagreb and the price would then be 190 euros for up to 7 people.

Most often when travelers come to see a destination, they mostly see it from outside. In this tour the emphasis is on the inside. We will be hosted by local people in their homes which will provide you with a deeper experience and knowledge on how locals in Northern part of Croatia live.

This extended tour starts in the morning. We will pick you up at the place where you stay in Zagreb and will head North. We are going to visit Medimurje and Varazdin counties, with all their points of interests.

However, the key part of this tour is that we're going to visit two homes where we are going to be greeted and hosted by locals who live there. They will serve us with a traditional Northern Croatian meal and snack, and you will have a chance to see deeper the way of life here. By talking with them you will surely learn some of Croatian words and custom (don't worry, there isn't a custom that includes obligatory brandy or vodka ;)  After the tour we are going to return to Zagreb.
