Hi! We travelled a group of 5 to sichuan on easter and contacted summer to help us get a car and driver for a 5-day trip around the south of Sichuan. Since I can speak a little chinese and were travelling on a budget, we requested only the driver but no guide. Summer was incredibly helpful from minute 1, sending us pictures of the car she proposed us to hire (which was exactly what we needed and matched what we were provided when we got to Sichuan) and also helping us planning the route we wanted to do and helping with the booking of some hotels we were having problems finding by ourselves.

Moreover, what really made our trip fantastic and memorable was Xiao Fei, the driver Summer provided us. Xiao Fei was really helpful along the trip, always punctual and very friendly, and a careful driver (which we were grateful for seeing how traffic is in china). He took us to really authentic chinese places to eat which were all delicious and we had a great time with him overall. Even so, that when we came back to Chengdu 3 days later he took us out to eat Huo Guo :)

Both summer and xiao fei were great and we would recommend them to anyone heading that way! Thanks to both!!!

We booked Summer through Synotrip at short notice. She arranged a big, comfortable car and driver (the one in her pictures) to pick us up early morning (07:00) from our hotel in Chengdu and we then went down to Leshan to see the giant Buddha. Sensibly she arranged a boat trip instead of the more usual walk due to time restraints but we had a good view of the Buddha and took plenty of pictures.

Lunch in Emei town was nice and she led us through all the surprisingly complex processes to get transport to the top of Emei Shan. Boy, was it worth it. The Golden Buddha was an amazing site and we were soon working our way back down. We returned to the hotel around 9:00 pm.

Although trying to do this in a day is far from ideal, Summer managed to facilitate it and make it an enjoyable experience. Her English is excellent and she is knowledgeable and helpful. Summer is a real expert on local birdlife and she patiently pointed out birds and calls to our novice eyes and ears. She (thankfully) didn't talk all the time like some guides but she was very responsive and offered interesting bits of information when appropriate. She even let us sleep on the way back!

With the extra for the car and driver, it was a reasonably expensive day but impossible without her and worth every penny. Flexible, friendly and with excellent English, I recommend her highly and I hope to get to some of the secret food places with her when we visit next!

Summer, she is a very helpful, friendly and experience tour guide. She is patient, fast response with your questions and able to recommend many good options and itinerary based on your preference.  I contacted her early this year and she provided me many useful information and recommendation, although my trip is planned end of the year.Conversation with her is like talking to an oversea friend as she is very friendly and approachable. She is good in English and you will not have any communication problem with her.

I'm going to visit Chengdu this year end. Looking forward to meet Summer and having a good time with my family in Chengdu.
