QinQin provided me with the knowledge that I needed to help me get around Shanghai and feel safe doing it.  She is a real professional at what she does and is very knowledgeable of Shanghai and the culture.  Really enjoyed my time spent walking with her around the city and seeing how people live and eat and just the way of life in Shanghai. QinQin was able to help me get my train ticket for my travel onto Beijing and also helped me to learn my way around on the local metro system, which is the way to go in Shanghai.  Thanks again QinQin for all your help and hope to one day run into you again.

Everything I wanted out of my tour!   

While setting up my tour with qinqin I told her that I wanted a good orientation of central Shanghai, which is what I got.   From the time we  met up at my hotel we walked and walked, despite the fact it was a cool and rainy day in March.      quinqin showed me the major points of interest, stopping at a train ticket office where she helped me buy tickets for my ongoing travel, and basically helping me feel comfortable wandering the streets of Shanghai.   

qinqin quickly realized that I was interested in more than the tourist stops and made sure to guide us through the streets and back alleys where I was able  to appreciated daily life in Shanghai.  After hours of walking and lunch, with nothing on our agenda, qinqin suggested a trip to the Jade Buddha Temple, a trip we made by taxi with a return by subway.   It was an excellent suggestion.     Throughout the day qinqin answered many questions i asked about life in Shanghai.  

Thanks to qinqin's orientation tour I was able to spend the next day on my own, visiting  the Shanghai museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund,  and the City God Temple.  

I highly recommend qinqin's  tour service for anyone looking for a  personalized tour.

We are a family of four, with two teenage girls, and were visiting Shanghai for three days - Dec 29, 2012 - Jan 1, 2013.  We were able to make all of our arrangements via email prior to our arrival in Shanghai.  Qinqin replied quickly to emails, and was able to understand and arrange three days of fabulous fun for us so we could get to know both the new and the old Shanghai.  Her English is perfect and her personality is one of great happiness.  She makes you smile and laugh all day.

She knows the city well and guided us to when to do things so that we missed crowds and saw areas at their best.  Food selections were great - she knows how to find the best street food and markets!  Just try the food from the vendors - fantastic.  As we toured she was flexible in modifying our schedule as we found other things that we were interested in doing.

All of our travel was on public transportation or walking around the city.  Many times we split up into two taxis to get to places, and she was always very careful about making sure the drivers knew where to drop us off - amazingly we always ended up at the same place

Qinqin is an excellent guide.  There are no hidden costs in what she quotes you - she is honest to a fault - and doesn't take you "shopping" to only certain vendors.  You can't go wrong if you book a trip with her.

This last May 2012, Qinqin was my tour guide during 4 days while I stayed in Shanghai. My husband was attending classes over there, I knew nobody in the city, and figured it would be great to have somebody to show me around. By chance I found the synotrip website and happened to pick qinqin as I wanted a flexible tour guide that would accommodate my requests (I don't care about shopping at all, and I'm into photography, so the perfect photo is what I was after).

Qinqin proved to be this and more, she had no issues when I brought a friend over last minute without telling her; she not only suggested where to go, but allowed me to change my mind last minute, made sure I was back at the hotel at the time I wanted to be back and was ABSOLUTELY GREAT at telling us all one can ever want to know about Chinese culture, the places we visited and on and on.

I would highly recommend her as a tour guide (and somebody that will make sure you have a nice time in China). Her English is very good and she is a great person. Be aware though, she needs to have lunch around noon, so don't do like us that kept going through lunch while starving her... Sorry quiqnin!!! And most importantly get ready for a good walk and adventure in Shanghai!!!

When I was preparing my first trip to China, decided to contact Qinqin, it has been a wise decision. She not only proposed a program of visiting the region of Shanghai tailored to my interests, but also guided me in the purchase of air and train tickets in China and put me in touch with excellent guides to the cities that wanted to visit.

Qinqin is a very attentive to your customer, always trying to meet their desires, even if not explicitly stated. Besides the excellent work done during my stay in Shanghai, she bothered to keep track of all my journey making contact with me and the guides with whom I worked.

As a guide she is honest and punctual and has a great knowledge about Chinese culture. And she is also is a nice person. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested in visiting Shanghai.
