Rina (Jessica) was key to our amazing trip. She arranged a driver to take us to Baisha village, tea horse trail, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri la and back to Lijiang. She also arranged for us to stay at her great villa and then drove us to the airport. I highly recommend her!

My friends and I love Yunnan so much. So this time ,we decide to come to China to experience this most beautiful

place. And so lucky that we meet Jessica as our guide. She's so professional! At first, we're so worried because we can't speak Chinese.

God knows that it will be a tough journey if we can't even talk to others! To our surprise, Jessica speaks good English and all her staff and

driver are so patient  to help us. The first day, Jessica took us to drive around in Lijiang old town, and it is so beautiful. Everything seems to

be stopped and everything is quiet.And on the second day,we also went to the Lashi lake which is just like a paradise and we took many pictures.

At the end of the tour, Jessica helped us to selectmany dedicate and good price  local souvenir to send my friends. Sooner, my family and

i will go to Lijiang again, i hope we can spend a more happy time with Jessica  again.

We had a wonderful and memorable time in Lijiang with Jess as our tour guide. Jess unlike other tour guide treat my family members like friends, taught us a lot about the Lijiang culture and brought us to taste the local naxi food :) The best part about the private tour with Jess is that she is really sincere, caring and all she want is that all of us enjoy our trip in Lijiang, unlike the usual commercial tour where the tour trip is really rush and not enough time to enjoy the beautiful city like Lijiang. We had a 2 days tour in lijiang. First day of the tour, we travelled to the Jade Snow Mountain, baisha village, ganhai, blue moon valley. As time permits, Jess brought us to Shuhe old town. I never regret travelling to Shuhe, it is much more ancient looking, very peaceful and much more beautiful as compared to lijiang old town. I would highly recommend people to visit Shuhe. Throughout the trip, Jess (chinese name: xiao yu) was very attentive. She knew that we would not get used to the high attitude and my father in law's health, hence she would keep checking on our health conditions, remind us to use the oxygen bottle, and even bought us hot ginger tea at the Jade snow mountain. She also provided useful tips so that we can avoid the usual tourist traps e.g. to buy the oxygen bottles, medicine for high attitude sickness, rent the warm rain proof coats etc at the town area, as these will get more expensive at the mountain area. Note that the waterproof rain coats are much cleaner than those at the mountain area. The next day, we went to Tiger Leaping Gorges, Shangri-la first tibetians village, the wildgrass land and a temple with the golden bell (forgot the name of that place). Along the journey, we get to view the pretty shangri-la view. I have never seen such pretty nature view in my entire life. As time is tight, we were fortunate to get to taste dali food, even though we did not travel to dali. The trip was well planned by Jess and the meals were equally local and delicious. Overall, I have enjoyed my trip in lijiang and really glad that we chose Jess as our private tour guide. We would highly recommend Jess as a private tour guide to anyone who would like to experience lijiang local culture. Read less

I had been to LiJiang before and this time with my family. Last time we felt the tours were all too touristy and not really the real native life. So this time we were very sure we anted to not do the usual tourist stuff - asked the concierge at the Banyan Tree where we were staying and he introduced us to Jessica. Well it was a pleasant  surprise for us to meet Jessica as her English is so natural - maybe as she stayed in Singapore ?! She understood what we wanted perfectly and was quite flexible in designing the tour for us. We went to the local native village at Shaaxi - and this is what we had come for - people living their local life, farmers tending to their fields, children playing ! We spent a good many hours there with Jessica just immersing ourselves in the local life - she is a local so that was very useful as she explained a lot of the local customs and ways of life to us ! We had a great time and best of all it was all at our own pace ! Nothing commercial or packaged about this ! Well recommended !
