I contacted YoungThing 1 month ago on the Wechat, actually i call her Yang, i was occupied by many stuff so that i had no time to add one good review on her good guiding job . I heared that something bad happened to her, so i decided to add one review to indroduce how a nice girl she is, no matter how busy i am , i should write the review to her.I came to chengdu for business trip last time, and had 3 days to travel around! I am a serious man, i dont usually smile or playing joke with people, but Yang is really enthusiastic, she always tried to make me smile . Considering i have some sick with my kneel, so we just walk some munites then stop for some rest, she is such a patient person. By the way, her english is excellent! Yang is a very punctual person .when i was with her, i dont need to worry anything for the trip, she respected my willing during the trip! Aha, Yang is really good at bargaining with the salesman! Yang was a really good guide for my recent 4 days sightseeing in and around Chengdu. Her English was very good; as was her knowledge of the tourist highlights. She was responsive to my ideas for what to go see, even if that was not on the usual tour itinerary. Yang was always concerned to meet expectations, was punctual; and very caring. We covered a lot of sights. Usually she was keen to do more each day, but at my request we sometimes did a shorter day as it was too much for me without taking a break (in particular, a lot of walking in the heat/humidity was more than I was used to doing). We traveled around by taxi or hire car as needed. This was always effective except taxis departing the Panda base were trying to work illegally off-meter; so we had a brief difficulty getting to our next destination - the wholesale spice market. Yang choose the hotel JinJiang which I then booked via CTrip and that was fine. The Chengdu food was terrific, the hot pot (and show) at the Way of the Dragon; and the cold noodles and dumplings at various small kitchens were also great (but usually needing Yang to translate for me to order anything). I am adding a very positive review of - youngthing. She also uses her name, Yang. I did read the above review. All opinions should be considered. Anyways, I experienced a wonderful tour by Yang, who conducts herself in a very professional manner. Always cheerful, and responsive to my questions. I had been in Chengdu the previous month, but did not really go anywhere. Chengdu is a huge city, and I decided to search for a tour guide on the internet. She provides all of her contact info, as you may have already seen on her profile. I use Wechat, and also email. I sent a message to both. No problem for her. We toured the usual stuff, the Panda Base, Wenshu Monastery, the very popular Walking Street, etc. I ask alot of questions as we go along. Sometimes, if she did not have exact knowledge, she would state this. Her English is quite good, and very easy to understand. I am not a young guy, and I was feeling pretty tired after 6 1/2 hours touring with Yang. She had arranged tickets to the Sichuan Opera, but I had to cancel. I felt bad that I had to do this, but she was very understanding. I definitely recommend Yang. She understands that there are many tour guides that the customer can choose. Read less

On my first trip to Chengdu, I had Yang guide me around Chengdu and setup transportation when needed. I am usually a solo traveller and I can't stand the corporate tours that are more about shopping than sightseeing so I decided to hire myself a guide. All correspondence with her up until the day of my trip was very effective and prompt. When I arrived in Chengdu and met Yang, I realized instantly that she was as nice and helpful as our email exchanges promised. I feel that after our experience with her, she helped me feel less like a tourist and more like a friend visiting. I highly recommend her to guide you around Sichuan/Chengdu. Read less

For the first time traveling to chengdu, thanks Yang arranged for us the whole trip. we went to the chengdu Huang long Xi ancient town, and  also the Panda Base to see the lovely giant pandas, We had so many kinds of snacks in chengdu on the  walking street, we also spent the time for  sichuan cuisine,  sichuan cuisine is really nice. Yang is really a good tour guide, so patient and very warm,  even she is a young girl, but we still chose to trust her, cuz i do know that everyone has the first time to do anything, Yang is young age, but she is a reliable person to be a professional guide, she also shared so many interesting things to us, she is really a hard-working girl, she must be very great in her future guide career. Yang is worthy to be trusted only if you can give the chance to her , we plan come to chengdu next year, and still choose her to guide us.
