To start with, I want to say, Aline is an excellent Tour Guide. I am a 76 year-old widower and Aline took very good care of me and made my visit to Chengdu and the Juizhaigou and Huanglong Valleys a wonderful experience, which I will long remember. Aline was concerned about my ability to hike the Juizhaigou and Huanglong Valleys and, in particular, my ability to handle the altitude and took special care of me. I had no problems, but it was comforting that she was watching out for me.

I was not interested in one of those canned tours and Aline convinced me that I made the right choice. While there were certain places I had researched and wanted to see, Aline suggested other places I might want to consider. There was no pressure, only suggestions. When we visited the Panda Base in Chengdu, Aline recommended that I hold a Giant Panda and I decided to do that. As far as my grandchildren were concerned, they thought that was the highlight of my trip. I am sure glad I did and I will confess, I think I got as much and maybe more of a kick out of it than my grand children did. Aline was prompt, considerate and her English was very good. She not only went out of her way to support my every need, but also, more often than not, anticipated my needs.

While it worked out OK, and I appreciated that Aline was trying to keep my costs down, if I had it to do over again, I would have asked her to go with me to Juizhaigou and Huanglong Valleys. As I said, it worked out OK, but I did have some anxious and uncomfortable moments.

I would strongly recommend Aline to anyone who wants to really see Chengdu and the Chengdu area and take home wonderful memories of their trip. She certainly made me want to return to China to see more.

What a fabulous guide for all things culinary in Chengdu.  Aline is professional, knowledgeable and beyond helpful.  I visited a tea plantation, the tea and pepper markets, and the panda base.  We shared lunch and dinner together at two wonderful restaurants that Aline chose.  Both were delicious.  To round out her services, Aline met me at the opera on Saturday night to purchase a well-positioned ticket; she got me settled in to my seat, and then went on her way to serve another client.  She is truly amazing. If you're heading to Chengdu to discover all that Sichuan cuisine has to offer, drop Aline an email.  You won't be disappointed.

I had Aline and friends for a few days in Chengdu in Nov of 2013. I am traveling across China and have had a few guides. Aline was the most energetic and fun of the many. I feel like she's a good friend in the time I had with her. It was very enjoyable time. She made my dream of a panda encounter come true. Need I say anything else? Well, from all the touristy things to all the not so touristy, I had a blast hanging out with Aline and a few of her friends in Chengdu. I will definitely be back to Chengdu since I didn't allow enough time there. Aline will be my guide there again and again. She even helped me out on my next destination, setting up a guide for me. Many thanks to a very memorable time! Until we meet again!

My husband and I just returned from two fantastic days with Aline in Chengdu and would highly recommend her as a guide.  We like to hire a guide when visiting cities in China not just learn about the sights and be transported from one place to another, but to meet wonderful people like Aline.  It allows us more opportunities to  interact with the locals and understand the history and culture.  As a guide, Aline was responsive to emails, very organized and had good command of the English language.  She set up an an itinerary based on our interests and was knowledgeable and very engaging while providing information.  We appreciated that  she was flexible and we never felt rushed from one place to another. Restaurants and dishes she picked based on our preferences were delicious and gave us a taste of the flavors of the region. It doesn't matter what you choose to do or see - i am sure you will enjoy your time with Aline.  Thank you Aline for sharing your city with us!

My daughter (11 years old) and I did a private Sichuan cooking tour with Aline.  We had a wonderful day exploring the wholesale spice market, vegetable markets and the like,  Aline knew many of the vendors who offered us samples and allowed us to take pictures of the goods they were selling.  Aline was able to easily tailor the cooking menu towards our preferences.  She explained the ingredients and methods she was using.  Once the dishes were ready we all sat down and feasted together.  Aline was very friendly, spoke English well and definitely knew the city better than some of the locals.  I would highly recommend her!

We stayed in Chengdu for 3 days and Aline was our guide for two of them. Right from the start she listened to what we wanted to experience and planned an itinerary that suited us really well. She arranged the transport with a very good driver who made the roads of China feel 'almost' safe !! and made the travel really enjoyable. Aline was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable and also fun to be with. We learnt things about the places we visited and the local culture as well.

Aline speaks excellent English and  was happy to share her experience of living in China with us.

i would not hesitate to recommend Aline and we will certainly make use of her services when we are back later in the year.
