Ebenezer Like 0

My wife and I had Mr. Hui take us on a three day trip from Lijiang to Zhongdian/Shangrila via Tiger Leaping Gorge from Dec 16 to 18th.  In summary it was an excellent trip organized by Ebenezer.  Prior to the trip Mr Hui was very helpful in planning and catering my trip depending on what we wanted to do (which is visiting sites at a slow slow pace!).

Not only is Mr Hui an excellent guide who knew a great deal about Lijiang and surroundings, he is also a very experienced photographer and a very safe driver (roads in Yunnan is very windy!).  

Most of all, he makes an excellent traveling companion.

I will definitely recommend him to my friends or anyone who will travel in Northwest Yunnan.

Seeing Ebenezer reminds me a trip of organized by him this June. Our spirits danced well with a good plan to track through mountains around Tiger Leap Gorge, 99-Dragon Lakes... It looked hard, but we did it. It's because we had a thoughtful, knowledgeable and warm-hearted guide -Ebenezer.  He took good care of us. He asked questions before we arrived. He prepared us mentally and physically. He made situation clear enough whenever we went further. He's not only a professional tour guide, but also an excellent photographer took eye-catching photos for us.

La experiencia de tener a Ebenezer como guía ha sido magnífica. Este hongkonés de edad atemporal ha supuesto un guía excelente. Le contratamos por cinco días y nos estuvo guiando por varias regiones de Yunnan. Aparte de ser un gran conocedor de las regiones en las que trabaja, en un excelente conductor y una maravillosa persona. Se compromete cien por cien con lo que se negocia y tiene una faceta humana muy marcada. De hecho nos ayudó cuando más lo necisitamos, una vez ya había finalizado su contrato, puesto que nuestro vuelo se había retrasado -bastante común en China; como también es bastante común dar con malos guías, de discurso manido y con tendencia a llevarte a supuesto "museos", es decir, fábricas donde intentarán que compres y llevarse su comisión-. Ebenezer es lo contrario: una persona de palabra, atenta, que sabe escuchar e intenta complacerte de la mejor manera, buscando satisfacer tus intereses y tus necesidades. Con un sentido de la empatía desarrollado y de una gran calidad humana, además, es muy interesante como interlocutor aunque al principio parezca parco en palabras. Haber dado con él nos hizo disfrutar mucho más de lo esperado y conocer una China más auténtica. ¡Sin duda alguna lo recomendamos!

We have hired him for fives days and toured around ShangriLa, Tiger Leaping Gorge and Lijiang. We had not any references before hiring and we arranged it by Synotrip first and personal emailing after. He seemed to be a reasonable person and someone who trust in, and indeed, he has been more than this: Ebenezer has meant an excellent guide, a fantastic expert of the surroundings he tours and an equilibrate person. He also does not mess on what it is up or not to one. Always attending and trying to please the customer depending on what it is looking for and the manner to do it. Also, he is the kind of guide that cares about the unexpected problems and helps one further than what one has arranged to him.  He is also a good driver and his 4x4 Cherokee roomy and comfortable, and believe me: Yunnan's roads need to be driven by a good one. We -were three people- have felt really nice side to him and if we come back -we hope so, because Yunnan is a real impressive place and worths it very much- we think , without hesitating, hire him again. Therefore, we do totally recommend him!
