Day 1: Tian'anmen -- Forbidden City -- Jingshan Park

Morning: Pick up at your hotel located in the downtown Beijing (between 8:30am to 9:00am)

Visit the Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.

Next, the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You’ll spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace.

Then you will visit Jingshan Park. You will climb to the top pavilion to get a fabulous panoramic view of city Beijing.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall -- 798 Art Zone

Morning pick up at your hotel (between 8:30am to 9:00am)

Mutianyu Great Wall (1.5 to 2 hours drive)

This is a one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall. You will have your choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up the breathtaking wall and spend a leisurely 1 to 2 hours hiking up and down the various sections exploring the Watch Towers and marveling at the construction and beauty of the renown and legendary Wall. You then have the option of an exhilarating toboggan ride back down or simply return the way you came.

After you finished Mutianyu, you will visit 798 Art Zone. It's China’s most progressive artistic precinct. It's a hotspot of modern art, culture and design.

Day 3: The summer Palace -- Temple Of Heaven

Morning you will go to visit Summer Palace, a summer resort for Imperial Family Members~considered the best preserved Imperial Park.

Summer Palace has been listed in the World Heritage Sites, originally named Qingyi Yuan or the Garden of Clear Ripples, was the first constructed in 1750. It was razed to the group by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860. The Government of Qing Dynasty rebuilt it in 1886 with funds that it had misappropriated from the Imperial Navy and other sources then 2 years later, renamed as Yihe Yuan or the Garden of Health and Harmony, it was ravaged by the Allied Forces of the Eight Powers that invaded China in 1900.

You can visit the court area, lake area, long corridor etc.

Then you will visit Back Lakes.

Then you will visit Temple of Heaven. It's the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Taiji practice.

Drop you off at the hotel after the tour.

Beijing is distinguished from other cities by its imperial culture. This tour has a classic route for it. It involves two famous world cultural heritages ----- the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace, the places where ancient Chinese emperors worked and lived. The splendid collections inside are also sparkles on the tour. As the symbol of new China, the Tian’anmen Gate is a holy place. So in the morning, go there to see the Tian’anmen Square and take a souvenir photo with the gate. To make the tour more relaxing, an easy activity is arranged ------ tea art ceremony. Leave a chance to the tea hostess to perform for your trip. At the end, you can entertain your eyes, ears and legs in a theater to watch a traditional art performance, Shaolin Kongfu or acrobatics.

The Tian'anmen Square is the politic center of China, and have a souvenir photo with the symbol of the new China ----- Tian’anmen Gate. You will learn about the brief introduction of Beijig, the function, history, significance of the buildings around Tiananmen Square, the political system of China, flag raising and lowering ceremony, security around Tian'anmen Square, etc.

The Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved imperial palace and the largest museum of China. Once 24 emperors lived and worked there. On the tour you will learn about the function, layout, history, ornaments, decorations, significance of the buildings in the Forbidden City, court ornamental art, symbolism, folk belief, court etiquette, Fengshui theory (environmental sychology), Five-elements theory, etc.

The Summer Palace is one of the royal gardens in Qing dynasty. There we will have a walk along the lake shore, long corridore and take a dragon boat across the Kunming Lake. On the isle, take a picture with your families under the old willow tree by the lake. The blue sky, white cloud, hills in the distance, clear ripples, bridge, breeze and laughter will be immortal memory in your life.There you will learn about the history, function, layout, significance of the buildings in the Summer Palace, the Chinese classical gardening art, Chinese classical literature, folk belief, imperial kitchen, imperial theater, Beijing opera art, etc.

14:00 ----- 15:30  Visit the Summer Palace.

19:30 ----- 20:40 watch the famous Kungfu show, Legend of Kongfu in the Red Theatre.

The show blends traditional and modern performing art. It will feast your eyes. You will have an understanding of Shaolin Kongfu, traditional Chinese weapons classification, Qigong, Zen Buddhism, basic Buddhist belief and etiquette.
