Lugu lake
Lugu lake belongs to Yangtze river water system, About 200KM from Lijiang, located in the north east of Lijiang city. its the third deepest lake in china with with an elevation of 2690m above sea leave on the mountain(The first deepst fresh lake is Tianchi lake Located on border of China and North Korea, The second deepest lake is Fuxianfu lake in Yunnan province). it is an natural border of Yunnan province and and Sichuan province. 40% of the lake belongs to Sichuan and 60% belongs to Yunnan.
Villages new lugu lake is the home town of Mosuo people, The mosuo people still practice their tradtional matriarchal society system(母系社会大家庭) and The "AXIA" vistting marriage( 走婚).
