D01 Beijing(L ,D)--Badaling Great Wall, Badaling Ski Resort

Pick up from your hotel around 8:30am and transfer to Badaling Great Wall.Then visit to the Badaling Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall, constructed in 1502 (during the Ming Dynasty), once served as a crucial military fortification, and is now the most impressive and representative section of the striking Great Wall. It is located in Yanqing County, about 70 kilometers (43.4 miles) from the downtown area of Beijing.

Badaling Great Wall:

Badaling Great Wall, a most famous section of the Great Wall, is located at Yanqing County in Beijing. Longqing Gorge sits at Yanqing County as well as Badaling Great Wall, so Longqing Gorge also attracts large number of tourists after Badaling Great Wall. Badaling, literally meaning "reach eight directions", got its name because the maze of its ridges stretches in all directions.

Some skiers come to Badaling Ski Resort due to its proximity to Badaling Great Wall.

D02 Beijing(B,L ,D)-- Badaling Ski Resort ,Badaling Hot Spring Resort

After breakfast, have fun in the ski resort.

Lunch at a western-style reataurant. 

In the afternoon,we transfer to Badaling Hot Spring Resort. The Beijing Badaling Hot Spring Resort is a three star hotel located about 15km northwest of the famous Badaling Great Wall. The hotel has different style guestrooms including standard rooms, single rooms, deluxe rooms as well as villas and apartment, all nicely decorated and equipped with advanced facilities.

D03 Beijing(B )-- Badaling Ski Resort

Today is a free day for you. Arrange your own time and have fun in the ski resort.

Day 01 Tianjin Xingang Port to Beijing( L )

Pick up at the exit of Xingang Port by our English tour guide and private car.Then drive to Beijing takes about 2-3 hours.

Lunch at local characteristic restaurant.

After Chinese lunch, visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Then move on to Forbidden City in the afternoon. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.

Be transferred to your hotel in Beijing.

Tiananmen square:

Tiananmen Square -The biggest downtown Square of the world,where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. Thousands of people come to the Square every day. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.

Forbidden city:

Forbidden City is one of most popular tourism destination for the tourists from home and aboard, it is really a must see in Beijing, your Beijing trip is not complete without visiting it, the forbidden city a showcase for Chinese architecture and Chinese history. You can also learn a lot of the Chinese culture in it, how the emperor's life is like, what are the imperial court is like, everything there is so impressive, definitely you can't miss it.

Day 02 Beijing Great Wall Tour ( L )

Pick up at your hotel around 8:00am. First drive to the Underground Palace.From the Yongle Emperor onwards,13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area.Changling Tomb is the largest and best preserved of the thirteen Ming Tombs near Beijing. Changling, 4 kilometers from the entrance, is the tomb of Emperor Zhudi (1403 - 1424) and empress Xushi.The layout is identical to the tomb of the first Ming emperor in Nanjing and is rather like the Forbidden City in miniature.

Changling Tomb:

Chang Tomb is the largest and oldest of the tombs. Construction on the mausoleum began in 1409 and lasted four years. Buried here are Zhu Di, the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and his empress. The forecourt has three courtyards and all the halls are covered with yellow glaze tiles on their roofs. The second yard was built after the Hall of Supreme Harmony of the Forbidden City. It is one of the largest wooden buildings in China and is supported by sixty unpainted poles made of nanmu. Unearthed objects are on display in this hall. Behind is a tower called Ming Lou (Bright Tower), the symbol of Chang Tomb. It connects the burial mound, the circumference of which reaches approximately one kilometer (0.6 mile)

After lunch, head to the Badaling Great Wall, which takes about 40 minutes. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. It lies 100 km from the northwest of Beijing,cable car is a good choice(optional).The Badaling Great Wall, constructed in 1502 (during the Ming Dynasty), once served as a crucial military fortification, and is now the most impressive and representative section of the striking Great Wall.

After the tour, transferred back to your midtown hotel in Beijing.
