Blue moon valley

Discover Yading-  " the last pure land on the blue plant !  " 

The land road trip will start in Lijiang, then Shangrila, then to Yading natural reserve.

Day 1, Arrive Lijiang Private pick up at Lijiang airport and transfer to Lijiang hotel. Check in and relax.   

Day 2,  Jade dargon mountain tour, over night at Lijiang.

-Visit Jade dragon mountain by cable car, Blue moon valley and Lijiang old town.   

Day 3,  Lijiang to Shangrila Via tiger leaping gorge , over night at shangrila.

-Drive to Tiger leaping gorge, visit one of the deepest gorge the world. Drive to shangrila check in hotel at Shangrila old town. Enjoy the cozy time explore shangrila old town. Turtle hill park and the biggest prayer wheel in the world. 

Day 4, Drive from Shangrila to Riwa

-Enjoy view of Napa lake, and snow mountain on the way to Riwa. Total driving time today is ~8hours.     

Day 5, Tour Yading nature reserve

-Tour Pearl lake and Chonggu moastery. Night at Yading.   

Day 6, Tour Yading nature reserve 

-5 color lake, milk lake and Luorong pasture, Stay at Yading . 

Day 7,  Yading to Benzilan,   Enjoy scenery on the way to Benzilan,   Check in hotel and relax.

Day 8,  Benzilan- Shangrila,  over night at Shangrila.

-Visit Songzanlin monastery,  Tibetan home visit,  Shika snow mountain.   

Day 9, Departure from Shangrila airport

Enjoing a morning Walk at  nice garden-Black dragon pool park at the original of ancient town, you will enjoy yourtime in this park, when the weather is good, you can see the reflection of Jade dragon mountain in the pond.

 visit a local market to see the daily life of local people.  Exploring the palace of Naxi chief to learn history of Naxi kingdom, you will also enjoy a birdeye view of Lijiang old town from on the lionhill.   Explore Lijiang by walking on the ancient cobblestone street with canals , try local snacks and taste a cup of Pu’er tea at the local teahouse.

 Exploring the mysterious yak meadow on the mountain, you can enjoy some nice walking on the highland meadow, if it’s a clear day, you can see snow-capped peaks of Jade dragon mountain near a Tibetan monastery.   on the way back to Ancient Baisha Naxi village, you will enjoy view of Blue moon valley.  Visit the former capital of Naxi kingdom-  Baisha village,  to see ancient architectures and learn ancient Dongba pictographic and Other Naxi handicraft.

Drive back to Ljiiang after the day trip.

 Day 1, May 29 Friday,  Meet at hotel at 09:30am, Walk tour of Lijiang old town and black dragon pool park. (walk tour,no private car )

Day 2,May 30, Saterday,  Meet at hotel at 09:30am , Day tour of Jade dragon mountain including Yak meadow, Blue moon valley and Baisha village. (Private car)

Private drive and guide.  Day tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, with Glacier Park(or Yak Meadow), Blue Moon Valley, also the Baisha Village to experience the Local Naxi culture and handicrafts, Shuhe Ancient Town to encounter the real 'Lijiang Time'.

  Pick up from hotel on 8:00, warm clothes and passports are necessary. Glacier Park Gondola ride from 3356 meters to 4506 meters, last 20 minutes. Up to the Glacier Park with viewing platform for taking photos of surrounding lower ranges, snow peaks and also a walking path along the glacier up to 4680 meters. 1 hour required for walking up and down.

  Yak Meadow Ropeway from 3200 meters to 3600 meters, 20 minutes ride. Getting closer to the nature, with snow mountain ranges by your side, a chance to meet yaks on the green meadow, step into an old tibetan buddhist temple on the top. 1 hour circle trail around the meadow, slow wandering along, with fresh air, green trees, grass flowers, white cloud, yaks. You won't ask no more but enjoying yourselves in the nature.

  Blue Moon Valley with the bluest Water in Lijiang. Snow mountain water run down the mountain through the limestones, carries copper sulphate and calcium carbonate from it, results into natural bule color. Reflection of the snow mountain peaks in the water, with brige, yaks, waterfalls into a picture, could be the best photos of Lijiang. 

  Baisha Village as the ancient capital of Lijiang, hometown of chieftain Mu, important stop on the southern silk road, by the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, where the original Naxi lives are. Naxi families harmoniously together, with traditional Naxi costumes. Hospitable Naxi women on the main square street selling vegetables from their own garden. Embroidery Institues along the main street as the handicrafts inherit centre of Lijiang. Batik and tie dye families by the street sides. 

  Shuhe Ancient Town with more than 900 years history. commercial centre of tea horse road caravans, so famous of leather, silver and PUER TEA in the village. 400 years old Qinglong Brige, crystal clear water running canals, historical square street, Music Listening Square, old wooden structures are all could be met in there. 

In the national park are five destinations, Glacier park, Spruce tree Meadow, Yak Meadow, the open-air theatre for the show Impression Lijiang, Blue Moon Valley. There are three ropeways respectively for Glacier park, Spruce tree Meadow and Yak Meadow.

The price covers the entrances fee of the national park, cable car for Spruce Tree Meadow, guiding and transportatins and Impression Lijiang show. The more people,the lower price for each. 

Timing table: 9:00 pick up and drive to the scenic area 10:00 take a park bus to one of the ropeway stations and take the cable car 11:00 visit Spruce tree Meadow/Yak Meadow/Glacier Park, and take cable car and park bus back to the theater for the show 13:30 enjoy the show of Impression Lijiang 14:30 take the cable car down and take the park bus to Blue Moon Valley 17:00 go back to hotel
