Zhaojiaya reservoir scenic area

Zhaojiaya Reservoir was built in 1972, Medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower engineering backbone projection with multi functions of pumped storage power generation,  flood control, irrigation , forest tourism, aquaculture,  with Reservoir catchment area of 33.5 sq km and extra catchment area of 24 sq km,  Reservoir hub rockfill dam is a clay reclining wall, Dam bottom elevation is of 500 meters tall, the dam height is 40 meters, Reservoir locks a natural cave, the dam is hidden underwater,  Zhaojia Ya Reservoir is known as China's first "no dam" reservoir.
