Explore Barcelona like a local on a 3/4-hour walking tour that is ideal for beginners who want a great local experience instead of a normal city center tours. I will get you closer to the city’s cultural, the local people and historical places where the stories have been built.

Starting from the central Plaza Catalunya, become a part of Roman history as you head into the heart of the Barrio Gotico. Wander down narrow, medieval streets to cross the famous Las Ramblas.

Stop at La Boqueria, Barcelona’s largest food market, to taste local produce. Then, it’s back into the Gothic Quarter to explore more secrets of the Roman city. Continue to the nearby El Born to discover Barcelona’s artistic side at artisanal stores.

En route back to Plaza Catalunya, marvel at the Palau de la Musica, one of the city’s most extravagant Modernista buildings, designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner at the start of the 20th century.

Barcelona is a very walkeable city, and a walk around the center is the best way to get a good feel of the city heartbeat. We will start discovering the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla, then we'll continue to the Expansion area to see some of the best works of the wonderful architect Antoni Gaudí.

This tour is very convenient as a shore excursion for shore passengers with little time to explore the city, but also for first-timers that need a city overview on their first day in town. Having a driver with us will allow us to see the best tourist areas in a limited time, but in a very efficient and relaxed way.
