Tour Description:

Built more than 2,000 years ago to protect the northern border against the hordes of nomadic tribes streaming in from Mongolia, the Great Wall of China is listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is a must-see attraction for Chinese and foreign visitors alike. As the most popular section of the Wall, Badaling site offers a breath-taking view and a precious insight into Chinese civilization, taking visitors back through time to Imperial China and its history. After a typical Beijing lunch and a visit to the Jade Art Factory, where you will see how jade is cleaned and sculpted into its final form, you will visit the Ming Dynasty Tombs, where 13 Emperors were buried in the most grandiose fashion, according to the principles of Feng Shui.

1. Pick up service by your tour guide and driver at 7:30-8:00AM

2. Ming Tombs-Driving Time (2 hours)

3. Ming Tombs-Sightseeing (1 hour)

4. Jade Art Restaurant-Lunch (1 hour)

5. Great Wall at Badaling-Driving Time (30 minutes)

6. Great Wall at Badaling-Sightseeing (2 hours). (Optional: Great Wall Cable Car, not included in tour price)

7. Typical Chinese silk shopping on the way back (30 minutes)

8. Drop-off service at your hotel before 6:00PM
