Varna Airport

Varna Airport is located west of Varna, near the town of Aksakovo. The distance between the airport and downtown Varna is around 10 kilometers, takes 20-30 minutes to drive to airport. Its a small airport, with a handful of airlines operating flights. The big airlines are - Air Bulgaria, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines, S7, Aeroflot and Wizz Air. There is a couple of cafes and snack bars at the airpor, as well as a duty free shop. Taxis at the airport can be confusing, might need to wait, and sometimes taxi drivers ask for money in addition.
