Local Blangs singing on the stage at Laoman’e Village, Bulang Mountain Village The Blang people who live in Bulang Mountain Village of Menghai County in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture are fond of singing, and they always like playing the musical instrument at the same time. It is a special characteristic of Blang people lives here with deep cultural deposits compromise with Blang ethnic music, dance, customs and costume. They always play the instrument in a light rhythm in a unique style. Recently, the local cultural department has formulated the detailed protection plans in order to protect Blang people’s special singing style here, so that it can be inherited generation to generation. The Blang people’s singing style has been included into the second batch of the national intangible cultural heritage list
