morning 8:00 pick up from hotel 

drive about 3 hours to Xiling snow mountain. from Chengdu-Wenjiang-Qionglai expressway. short for Cheng-Wen-Qiong Expressway. 

take the first cable car up. 

take the sightseeing bus ( 15 minutes ) 

there will be the ski area. 

 you can also take the second cable car ( 20 minutes ) to Riyueping ( 3250 m altitude high) 

the cable way is 2500 meters in length, 1000 meters drop. the great variation of altitude and temperature gives the scenic area the advantage of viewing four seasons at the different altitudes from the mountaintop to the valley at the same time. the lower and middle part of the mountain , from the altitude of 1,300 meters to 2,100 meters, is covered like a patch work quilt with colorful flowers while the higher part above 3,200 meters, blanked in pristine white snow, sparkles and shimmers in gleaming silver. The Hongshijian peak at the altitude of 3,312 meters is a natural belvedere. To the west, you can see the snow -capped mountains stretching for hundreds of miles, and view the gorgeous spectacle of " the Golden Mountain under the Sun" on early sunny mornings. To the east you may see the vast Chengdu Plain extending for one thousand miles. 

after noon around 15:00 finish the trip and drive back to Chengdu

around 18:00 back to hotel end the trip
