There are many ways to do fun activities outdoor and get the feeling of adrenaline rush. Most people getting best experience from surf the waves, or snorkeling on calm sea garden, or goes deep for underwater world scuba diving. However, some people might haven't experienced to enter caves and going deeper to underground. It has related on general issues that caves can be a dangerous places; or it's only a dark place for mining or urban exploration. Nowadays, caving comes to be known as an extreme sport as it uses many skills on squeezes, the negotiations on pitches, wall climbs, or diving. Become increasingly popular activities, this is the perfect time to explore the underground of exotic Indonesia! Squeezing on dark narrow gap with equipped headlight, capturing growing stalagmite and stalactite, crawl on pristine cave floor with shining wet stones,and spot water flows through caves. On this cave area, first our expedition team welcomed with a vertical entrance for 5-6 metres. Then a journey along the cave started by crawling and even dipped our body on the underground stream. We were amazed with those stalagmyte and stalagtyte walls and even we noticed some crystal stones. All this magical place was created from the water stream and stone evolution. ALong 4-5 hours trek, we found a stop point and also the exit point for Goa Lo cave. There we enjoyed our time to relax and rest before we found another cave to explore. The second cave named Goa Bangi requires more skill experience on caving activities as the area are three times more dangerous. The entrance for Goa Bangi also a vertical entrance with water stream flows from the waterfall above. During our going in, all crew did pay attention on the water stream which poured over their body and not to slipped on their step. And on the underground, a few metres trail will cover all our body with water. And another crawling part to the exit where the exit holes also the exit way for river water. Since the second cave requires higher skill and caving experience, we suggest to all beginner cave explorer to try the first one. Or try to explore the second one with any experienced partner.

You're free to transform as Robinson Crusoe, set your tent, dipping and climbing the rock cliff to see the school of jumping dolphins, or lay in the sands under starry night skies. It's all yours!

Bululawang is one of the small village in Malang country side district and has been known for leather crafts. Not only famous for their leather good, this village also has a typical Indonesian village which is quiet, has nice ambiance, a lot of rice filed and fruit plantation around their area.
People of Bululawang are mostly work as farmer and leather craftman. Just like typical of traditional village in Java, they use Javanese language. They also still hold the strong culture such as being polite to elder. You can not call elder people directly by their name, so you need to use “Bapak” or “Ibu” to show respect and politeness. People are usually very friendly and nice. They know and tend to help each other very well.
As a farmer, they use to go to rice field so early in the morning. Thus, they bring their lunch from their home and eat it together with other farmers in a small rest area called “gubug”. It is a small gazebo usually placed in the corner of rice fields, a perfect place to rest.
Since there are a lot of rice field and plantation, they always cook food from the best ingredients. Fresh fruit and vegetables are always easy to find in dining table. The unique thing is, they usually eat together in the floor with the mattress. There will be a lot of food and they will sit on the mattress enjoying their lunch or dinner together with family or friends.
The best way to enjoy this village area is by cycling just like local people. The weather is still clean and fresh without any pollution so it is perfect for you who is tired with chaotic life in the city. You can stop by when you see the local child playing kite and join them. There is also a hidden gem where you can enjoy the fresh water in the spring.

Semeru Mountain has become one of Indonesia’s favorite hiking destinations. The adventure of trekking during a day and night, enjoying gorgeous landscapes of hills, trees, edelweiss flowers, as well as knowing the cultural folklore behind this mighty mountain, has attracted local and international tourists alike . Semeru is highly regarded within the realm of Hindu and Buddhist cosmology. The name, Semeru, originally came from Meru or Sumeru, which means the place of Gods or that which is above the Gods. According to folklore, Semeru was originally a part of the Himalayan Mountains, which was brought to Java Island by Gods Brahma and Wisnu to stabilize and subsequently stop the occurrence of major disasters. For this reason Semeru has become the most sacred mountain for Hindus and Buddhists living on Java and Bali. Places of Hindu worship, such as Ranu Kumbolo (Lake Kumbolo), can be found at 2400 meters on a 14 hectare parcel of land filled with legend and mysticism. The lake is said to have been created by Hindu’s God to complete his asceticism.
It normally takes 3 days and 2 nights to reach the top of Semeru, but avid, experienced hikers can reach the summit in 2 days and 1 night. The first leg of the trek from Ranu Pane Village to Ranu Kumbolo takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, followed by a hike over Tanjakan Cinta hill to reach a wide savana called Oro-oro ombo. This is followed by forested vegetation, as pine trees (Casuarina jungjuhniana), edelweiss, and peat moss-covered trees line the trail. After a 4 hour walk, the climbers can reach Kalimati. Normally trekkers will stop to rest in Kalimati, but some prefer pushing on until they’ve reached Arco Podo. Trekkers can rest in Arco Podo prior to the final climb to reach the top during the very early morning hours of the next day. Between midnight and 1.00 am, trekkers prepare for the final stretch for the summit. Many people have said the hardest part lies in the final climb, as solid ground gives way to a slippery incline of sand and loose rocks.
After the exerting climb on a sandy terrain of 45◦, the reward of dawn brings in a new day from the distant horizon, gently illuminating the vistas below and to lead the climbers on the final assault. Upon reaching the summit, climbers are rewarded with panoramic views as the day breaks, but the visual miracle arrives when the ground shakes from thunderous sounds from beneath the earth. Suddenly, an enormous ash cloud emerges from the crater; hovering 100-400m above the crater floor, as projectiles are ejected onto the inner crater rim. This miraculous event is repeated time and again during the course of the day.
Enjoying the breath-taking scenery, while learning of mystical folklores on the highest land of Java are but a part of the magnificent adventure you will experience.

DAY 1 :
- Start from Malang
- Heading to Bromo Crater area. Exploring the area of Bromo Crater, Blacksand desert, and Teletubbies Hills
- Continue to Ranu Pane village for an overnight stay before Semeru trekking
DAY 2 :
- Preparation for trekking : visitor data submit, camping gear, etc
- Ranu Pane and trekking for 4 hours to reach Ranu Kumbolo lake
- Rest and lunch in Ranu Kumbolo lake
- Continue to next point in Kalimati. Trekking duration 2-3 hours
- Set a camp in Kalimati and rest until next dawn
DAY 3 :
- Start by midnight, journey to the peak of Semeru will be started
- Trekking over sandy and sloppy trek for about 4-5 hours
- Enjoying the best view from the highest point in Java island
- Be aware not get too close with the crater lips
- We will bring you back down before 9 AM to avoid the smokes
- Journey back to Ranu Pani and Malang city. Arriving by evening in Malang
