 one more tip about how to get to Xintiandi :

Since Xintiandi is not far from People's square / Shanghai Museum, so you can just walk to south after hang around in People's square. It takes 10 mins only then you will see Xintiandi area .

Transportation to Mou Chou Lake Park is to take bus no 4,7, 13, 19, 37, 41, 48 and 83 and get off from Mou Chou Lake park.

a market where you need to bargin. But it seems like even though the items are not real brands but also with good quality. 

 

i bought one pair of shoes from there, it is pretty cheap from this April, now it still lasts well.

Huanggong in Chinese also means Imperial Palace. Nobody except Emperor and royal families can use those sensitive words. Obviously time changes. Everybody can enjoy the royal style now.
